I need prayer for my mental health and to pass this board exam that I keep failing. I work with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Being able to serve this population in my community brings me so much joy. I love serving GOD like this. I want to pass my board exam so I can continue to serve this population, collaborate with other professionals and more to better help the individuals I work with. I keep taking it and I keep failing it by a couple of points. I don’t want to run out of faith but I feel like GOD is against me.

I called my daughter today. Explaining to her that I am fearful of feeling the deep depression that I’ve been working so hard to not have. That I fear of bringing there again. So she told me mom you can’t do this alone anymore. Now she has been working hard to have a relationship with God. She’s an amazing person 23 years old and has dealt with her own traumas and issues. But seeing her open and so aware of accepting everything and knowing that all she ever really needed was her relationship with God makes me see her in a different light. But anyway getting off track. I was just sobbing talking to her about how I’m feeling, how I miss all the kids, how I feel so depressed, how my house is falling apart, how my job isn’t working out. She said to me, Mom you can’t do this alone anymore. She said she was gonna send you some podcast and some videos that she thought would help you out with how I’m feeling right now. She said she don’t have the magic words and can’t tell me how to feel better. But she can be here for me. That she said I’m gonna do one better and she sent me videos and podcast. She highlighted this sermon and I watched it. Part of the time with my eyes open crying the other half just my eyes closed and to allow God speak to me.Thank you for allowing God to speak through you. This is just my beginning of my journey to build a relationship with God and it’s hard because I’ve always felt so alone and so abandoned. But those aren’t true feelings that’s not God‘s way because he has been there with me through the dark I just didn’t know it. And now I need to let him bring me to the light. I don’t know what season I’m in, but I’ll figure that out or let God figure that out for me. I just wanna say thank you so much. The sermon really made things clearer and not feel so blinded by what’s right in front of me.

I’m dark in the season . I feel I worry and stress and feel attacked and things keep getting backed up and piling on top of each other . How can things get any worse? How can my anxiety get any more intense ? The pressure is so intense that mentally and physically I feel frail. But listening to this, resonates so deeply into me. God puts me in situations where I FEEL I can’t get through but I KNOW in my heart and soul that I am protected. That this is a plan he already made for me. Wherever I am, He is. Wrapping his spirit around me . I am so grateful for this sermon and for Steven’s words . My spiritual thirst is real and my faith in the lord has never been so strong. Things seem to fall around me but it’s not in vain. There are reasons the lord has me where I am at in life. He has never left me in my past battles and he won’t start to leave me now. I am here breathing. I have my health and family who love me. I have a warm bed . Things may not be perfect or what I want or need them to be. I may be having an internal battle of stress and depression and worry but my faith and bond is so unbreakable. I want to work it in! I want to show God that yes, be kind to myself. Know my worth like He knows. This is all temporary and the silver lining is to move forward through Christ and with the Holy Spirit. Matthew 6:34 says “therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry for itself. Each day has enough worry of its own”. Why worry when I can live each day in peace? I may not be in the season I want right now, but I am placed here to learn from something . God does not make mistakes and he knows everything about me, every hair on my head. Steven reminds me while I’m waiting for my new direction, I need to be proactive with my faith and focus on God. In the absence of what I have and how I feel, I am still living with the next best thing which is greater than anything I can ask for . I felt the urge to leave a comment to thank you Steven for enlightening me to focus on WORKING IT IN with GOD. I am not alone. My eyes are like lamps and I have chosen to see the light in the dark. Everyone out there with problems in life, rejoice in the light because this too is temporary. God bless you Steven and thank you for helping my faith strengthen.

Hi pastor Steve I want to first I'm not big with technology so sounds funny but I didn't even know where to leave a comment or as I'm typing this am doing right but I wanted to tell you thank you for the share the words of the holy spirit because you don't know me but I started watching you on utube on my TV and I can't say what I went through to get to but I know and firmly believe God put your channel in front of me I have watched a lot of a year old and even watched one that I've already watched I just want you to know I've always felt like God was hard to reach and I couldn't help to think that I was the only one in the whole wide world that felt like almost an outcast with God but listening to you you don't know it but you're talking about me and God is talking to me loud and clear through you I mean every time I watch you that's every morning

My sermon notes for "God will work it in" 1.) Any situation in your life that is not getting better, you can get busy while you wait for it to get better. While you are waiting for it change, change 2.) Absence is an opportunity for application. When it isn't getting better, you are. The process by which you mix the word with faith is how you are strengthened 3.) Integration happens when you use what was taught in peace in the midst of your turmoil. Anything in your life that goes away will be replaced by something better. It may feel like absence but it's not, it's integration, when something goes away something greater comes in 4.) The absences of what you think you need makes you effectively what you already have. God does not you to earn your salvation, but integrate and apply as you live your life. Let God work it in you, he works it in while you work it out 5.) What you call anxiety and excitement depends on how you think about it. You worry because of the way that you are thinking 6.) Whatever happens, don't forget to remember you have God in the middle everything you are dealing with
