I have a serious question for me the big part of this style braid is the fishtail look on the edges so when you put edge control to keep the braid from frizzing doesn’t it defeat the purpose of the fishtail look?

I wore these braid back in the day... I still like the style ti this day. I've tried to do the under hand method but my hands seems to go in the opposite direction lol.... corn roll style.I will learn this method one day, thanks for the tutorial great job
