I have a couple of questions. Generally how many pieces of hair would you add for medium knotless and long length? I want to start practicing and need a little help. Also, do you just part simultaneously or should you plan exactly? I hope those aren’t too confusing or don’t make any sense at all.

I always have this problem. Something that worked for me was to add extra hair to each row that way all the braids would be the same length and I would get to the top of my head and have short braids. Example: in the first , second and third row if I add 2 strands of hair you know that the back is going to be long . So buy the time I get above the ear I would add 4 strands of hair and at the very top 6 strands just so that the top of my head would be the same length as the bottom. Hope this helps. Have not found one video where they tell u how many strands of hair to use.
