It's nothing like the typical harem though. Roxy taught Rudy the fundamentals of magic, and even taught him not to fear the world outside their home in Buena village. She's his first source of emotional stability in this world, to the point that her scent, or even at least memories of her scent, is enough to ground him when he's having panic attacks. He doesn't sniff "the holy relic" to get off. He sniffs it when shit gets real bad for him, which is why he probably views her as a goddess.

It should be a lot faster since they're likely not teleporting that far in the labyrinth, but it still probably takes a couple seconds. He can't look that far ahead in the future because it gives him headaches, probably because the different possibilities start increasing exponentially the farther ahead he tries to look.

IRL modern western morality aside... Where it got messy with Paul was that his wife insisted on monogamy, as it is in her religion.
