Yup! Your reading confirms something I would have never really thought. My karmic..was my one of my best friends. Who I had to walk completely away from. As she was just too controlling/overbearing. Seeming to try and take over my entire life. It had gotten to the point of exhaustion. So drained. So..in fear of saying no to her. I was in almost a constant state of stress. Always wondering when the other shoe was going to drop. This was someone that I've struggled with for YEARS. I'd stopped talking to her ten years ago because of her..toxicity. Mental issues stemming from stuff from her childhood. Serious abandonment issues. We came back together earlier this year. And it seemed like she'd really changed. Gotten help. So, we came back together. And for a while it was great. I like a lot of things about her. She's very smart, funny, etc. We'd gotten to the point of deciding to start a creative project together. But the more time went on..the more I started feeling suffocated. She started demanding so much of me. My time, resources. I kept trying to keep my head above water, as it was throwing my whole life out of balance. I finally..just hit my breaking point. And just..just crumbled into a heap. We had plans that finally cancelled. I didn't show. Had another friend explain it to her, as I just did not have the strength. She'd always talk me into/out of stuff. And I started to see the whole picture. How everything she was pressuring me on was to her advantage. She cared nothing of my own basic needs. Didn't care that she was running me into the ground. That's when I got good and mad. Looked back on all the little slights, digs. Where she'd give me these lectures, like I'm some little kid. Painting it as though she had the answers to all of my problems. Amd I resented it, as I'm a very..independent thinker, otherwise. I know myself well, have a strong sense of myself. But she..knew my Achilles heel. Knew how to manipulate my emotions. By turning on guilt and shame. Gaslighting techniques. Anyhow..after ousting her from my life, yeah, it felt great. Free. But it left feeling like hiding, for sure. So..I took some time away from everyone, everything. Which was the best thing possible, as it gave me time to get myself back together. It was only four or five days, but it was enough. So yeah, the other person. Past love. Love of my life, actually! It appears he's coming back. Healed, changed. Not quite sure I'm ready for it.
