Toronto in the 70’s. You could go out any night of the week and see amazing bands for the price of a beer! God do, Rush, Moxy, Triumph, Street Heart, the list goes on. Those reality WERE the good old days!

Listened to this in buddys Renault, Dave Wegg was his name. From Cobourg! We built solar systems together for Canadian and Saudi Arabian Self Drainback Hot water systems! In the early 80's, This guy was a stand up comic at and away from work, all we did was cry laughing at everything! Awesome Dude! We installed the first Black Chrome Solar Heat Absorbers used in the Solar West Project, on Swallow street, in Vancouver, The system was too efficient and the number of panels had to be reduced by 1/3, otherwise the holding tank water would vapourise! Whatever you do, dont stick your finger in an absorber header tube! Itll burn Ya! heheheheeh He could drive the car sideways in the ice and snow! hehehe

Remember seeing these guys Canada Day 1979 at the old Exhibition Stadium in TO. They were they opening band of an all-day show that also featured Moxy, the Ramones, Johnny Winter, Nazerath and co-headliners Ted Nugent and Aerosmith. I forgot what a great live band they were. This simulcast was recorded around the same time.

I (when I was much younger) would go to Ottawa on Saturday nights and watch, listen and party with these guys at a bar callled the Black Swan,at about 10;00-10:30pm., the odd time the boys would come around and talk to the people at the tables,(77-78), I'm not sure if I ever seen them at the "Chaud" over in Queerbec, I remember Ottawa, because I always crashed at the exibition grounds, so I didn't have to drive home, considering I could barely walk to the car ! Anybody out there remember the bouncer at the chaud....Gerry ?, Stabbed, shot dragged behind motorcycles tied to a chain....It was said if there was a contest, for the best bouncer....he would win hands down, how did I make it this far.............................................
