4:50 Brain in a vat got a rework a while back and it no longer takes away the second ult if you dont use it immediately so you could attack with gallagher and then ult again.

i'm pretty certain it was because of gallagher because i noticed that rework right around when he released. it makes sense, having to two in a row on him would waste one use of his EBA and make him harder to use

​@@blackbird-sleeper Most of the characters actually, Gallagher isn't that popular yet when the rework happens. It indirectly buffs Seele too since back then when she does resurgence+ brain in vat the energy is gone.

@@blackbird-sleeper that might have been just a coincidence because for several characters using a second ult straight up doesn't benefit them. It's a good change tho....made brain in a vat a lot more useful

@@chrispdo true, gallagher wasn't the only character at the time screwed over by old BIV, it just happened right at his release so i figured it was because they realized how bad old BIV was for characters who require weaving other things between ults (like gallagher and seele). so not strictly because of him but so correlated with his release that he had to be one of the main reasons

I love how the lux arrows follow in the next phase as well. It's the best one for me for the extrapolation. Phase one ends with the break, i only have to deal with phase 2 while fully fresh and lux arrows take care of phase 3. Clean

Using a break team with gallagher, harmony mc, ruan mei, and firefly using destruction equations carried me through protocol 6 (note, my ruan mei has E1 using past and future at S3 and firefly E1 using aeon at S5)

4:53 You could've Basic ATK first then use ULT again to try and break faster. You can just ULT > Enhanced Basic > ULT again (from Brain in a Vat) > and another Enhanced Basic Edit: Nvm, he already did it at 6:41
