Godfall Fire & Darkness Animation Reel Jonathan Colin

Godfall Fire & Darkness is the first main expansion for the eponym looter-slasher Action-RPG developed by Counterplay Games and published by Gearbox.
Fire & Darkness released on August 10th 2021 on PS5, PS4 and PC (Epic Games Store).
I have worked on this expansion as Lead Animation, on Animation content, Animation Blueprint and various systems setup, team mentorship, additional rigging as well as Mocap direction.
I was responsible for every animation presented in this video except Flameblood Devastator's idles.
The motion capture was recorded at SuperAlloy Interactive and performed by Robert Dill and Eric Jacobus.
A big thank you to everyone at CPG, GBX and SAI who helped bring these characters to life: character modellers, riggers, game and tech designers, mocap operators and performers, producers, SFX and VFX artists. And of course the animation team for being such great coworkers!
