Godless - Dandy Warhols Guitar Cover Courtney Taylor-Taylor Gretsch Falcon Tokai Ebow Shoegaze Drone

Only diiscovered this track in the past year, l love the ebow/drone opening, decided to make more of a shoegaze version and replaced the brass with the ebow playing the melody.
3 guitars on this one - more noisy than the original, and I've used the official video in the drop down part.
Never seen the Dandy Warhols live but I had the chance to when they were supporting David Bowie at Wembley Arena around 2003, a friend had a spare ticket.... was playing with my own band on the night and had to turn it down - my biggest gig regret as I never saw Bowie...

Love this song! Love the Dandies! Great cover! I've been a fan for 20 years lol This was their peak album in my opinion! I want to cover this too. I won't be able to do that cool intro with the ebow. That was awesome man!!

Didn't know that band before, but sounds really cool! 💙 Maybe named after Bowies song + Andy Warhol? Nice effects with the video, especially on your shirt, looks like you wear a Dandy Warhols band shirt towards the end! 😎 What a pitty you missed David Bowie live , luckily I saw him 3 times, he was so amazing. Could be partly named after the Bowie song - know that they were friends of Bowies and appeared with him during the 2000s.

Thanks Pluto, Its more of an Overdrive sound than Distortion, so more like a Boss OD1 sound than a DS1, has some chorus in there also, the Gretsch helps to get that distinctive sound also
