"He was pierced for our transgressions" is a intropolation the Hebrew word is meholal ... according to the Strongs concordance the first meaning is to be profaned or polluted ritually or sexually. About to watch the video…I’ve got high hopes 😃 Edit: Once again🤓….you need to verify the new testament before you claim it fulfills prophecy. If an anonymous author writes a book aligning perfectly with prophecies in the Book of Mormon….that would not prove that anonymous book or the Book of Mormon to be true. You need to verify the authenticity of both texts. But keep trying 😇👍

Your reasoning is 100% backwards. You must be a rookie... What's one way scholars verify ancient text? By looking at events that the text mentions and seeing if it has external confirmation.. This is precisely the reason that you Rumzi need to prove the Quran's version of the Crucifixion is correct before you claim its from God.
@Mahid6079Ай бұрын

And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.” (Quran 4:157) Remember the lying requires intention when they were spreading falsehood they truly did believe he was crucified and naturally that would be what was passed on history but they didn’t how we don’t know how.
@SilverRaysBeauty44Ай бұрын
@ZDL679 You made a theological misstep. You stated that "they" would naturally pass this on in history. Perhaps some of "the Jews" who were subject to the divine illusion did pass this on, this still doesn't account for the plausibility that the reports that people in history were hearing were those coming from other eyewitnesses at the crucifixion who were NOT subject to the divine illusion. This destroys Rumzi 's claim. In other words, history that reports Jesus was crucified may very well be getting it's information from eyewitnesses who saw Jesus crucified and who were NOT seeing an illusion.

Exactly. Christians claim that there are over 300 prophecies in the Old Testament which have been fulfilled by Jesus. The problem with this claim is that if one examines these prophecies, you will find that they are not specific and they must be stretched in order to make them fit the person of Jesus. For example, the Gospel of Matthew wrongly referenced a prophecy: *When he arose, he took the young child [Jesus] and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son. [Matthew 2:14-15]* So according to the Gospel of Matthew, there’s a prophecy in the Old Testament that was fulfilled by Jesus. But when one goes back to the book of Hosea in the Old Testament where the passage is referenced from, you will find that only half the passage has been quoted: *When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt. [Hosea 11:1]* As you can see, when read in full, rather than being a prophecy about Jesus, this verse was in fact speaking of a past event, the exodus of the Israelites at the time of Moses. In another example, Matthew misattributes a prophecy to Jeremiah: *Then what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: “They took the thirty pieces of silver, the price set on him by the people of Israel, and they used them to buy the potter’s field, as the Lord commanded me.” [Matthew 27:9-10]* Here the Gospel of Matthew is making the point that the betrayal of Jesus by Judas for thirty pieces of silver was foretold by Jeremiah. The problem is that when one looks to the Book of Jeremiah in the Old Testament, no such prophecy is found. It is actually found in the Book of Zechariah: *I told them, “If you think it best, give me my pay; but if not, keep it.” So they paid me thirty pieces of silver. And the Lord said to me, “Throw it to the potter”-the handsome price at which they valued me! So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them to the potter at the house of the Lord. [Zechariah **11:12**-13]* Notice that the details are different. Whereas the Gospel of Matthew mentions the purchase of a field for thirty pieces of silver, Zechariah mentions no such thing. So not only is the wrong book of the Old Testament named in the Gospel of Matthew, but the contents are different. Then there are cases where the New Testament would quote prophecies that don't even exist: *He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, [Luke 24:46]* *Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” [John 7:38]* Nowhere would you find the prophecy of Messiah being suffered and then rise on the third day in the entire Old Testament. Nor does it say anywhere in the Scripture that rivers of living water will flow from within the believers of Messiah. If Christians have no issue accepting these standard of prophecies for Jesus, then in the name of fairness and consistency they should adopt at least a similar standard for Prophet Muhammad. Christians should adopt a methodology that is fair and consistent when it comes to finding prophecies of Jesus and Muhammad in the Old Testament. We can’t have one set of standards for Prophet Muhammad, and another for Jesus.

What about this next verse: Isaiah 53:11 NKJV [11] "He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities"? The words "He shall see", are they in the past tense, according to you? The biggest problem with Muslims is that they don't read. They believe anything and everything that their Dawah teachers propagate, without checking the facts for themselves. Yet, Jesus said this: Matthew 12:36-37 NKJV [36] But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. Common christian claim: "jesus fulfils 300 prophesies in the Old Testament!" In reality, jesus is retrospectively injected into the OT wherever there is loose parallels to his life depicted in the gospels. Here's a breakdown: The reason why appealing to prophesy about jesus in the OT doesn’t work is because of the presupposition that jesus was a *divine dying rising saviour mangod who vicariously atones for the sins of the world* . The prophesies said to be about jesus in the OT are always related to these motifs, so if he isn’t really any of these things then it’s proof that the prophesies aren’t about him but Christians are forcibly injecting jesus into the OT verses with these invalid interpretations. Here’s how we know: It is a false presupposition because jesus was none of these things according to scholarship (and an unbiased reading of the NT). None of his earliest followers (original Christianity) took him as these things (bold text) either, but these things were a later development disconnected from jesus and his disciples. The early followers took him as the messiah, a prophet, a healer, and an apocalypticist, his death was not for human sin nor was he divine. The prophesies attributed to jesus are always to establish him in light of these motifs of him suffering for sin or being divine. So if these motifs about jesus developed later and are falsely attributed to Jesus, then the prophesies attributed to jesus in relation to these motifs must also be falsely attributed to him, and they are in fact down to a misinterpretation by Christians (retrospectively injecting jesus into OT) For example later Christians say “Jesus died for our sins” (that’s a false motif that the early followers didn’t have nor did jesus claim but later Christians did). The later Christians continue: “and it’s prophesied in the OT that he’d die for our sins, with the suffering servant pierced for our iniquities! This is jesus”… Jesus didn’t die for human sin historically and he didn’t claim it nor did his disciples, so this is not prophesy about him since it’s predicated on a false understanding of christ, it’s just these Christians reading jesus into it erroneously. In reality, the only gospel to identify jesus as pierced is john which is the last one, which is evidence of this embellishing of jesus by the gospel author in order to make him retrospectively fit the OT. The other 3 gospels do not document jesus being pierced [nailed on the cross or ran through with a spear] In reality, it is a form of confirmation bias, retrospectively injecting jesus into the OT wherever they see any loose parallel (Isaiah’s suffering servant mentioned above, with similar motifs to jesus. But Isaiah’s suffering servant was based on Jeremiah, due to the intertextual points of contact in the text) (Isaiah 9:6; the titles don’t align with jesus, he was never the prince of peace nor almighty god nor everlasting father) (He shall be called Emanuel- jesus never was called emanuel). All of the prophesies Christians mention being about jesus are in fact about other figures.

Isaiah 53 is talking about Israel who were identified as one single person. This is talking about the Jewish exile. Note it also says in verse 10 he will see his seed “zeerah” in Hebrew in this case it is literal because it is in this case possessive. Jesus never had seed nor saw him. It also says his life will be extended if Jesus is God how can his life be extended because if his life was extended that means it still has to end someday. It also says in the beginning that he has nothing that is desired about him so you wanna tell me that Jesus was not someone who was desired? Also some Rabbi’s suggested that this is about Jeremiah because look at these verses. Isaiah 53 7 He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. 8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away. Yet who of his generation protested? For he was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people he was punished. And Jeremiah 11 19 I had been like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; I did not realize that they had plotted against me, saying, “Let us destroy the tree and its fruit; let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name be remembered no more.” Similar language is used and it could perfectly fit Jeremiah too. The way Christians have read it was a reinterpretation of the text and force Jesus into it and a way to demonstrate this is by reading the crucifixion accounts from Mark then Matthew and Luke and eventually John, you will see clearly how the are trying it to make it more violent everytime.

I believe that somewhere in the old testament after Isaiah some other prophet also spoke about himself in those terms so i will go check and edit in the reference for that Here it is Ezekiel 4:4-5: "4 Then lie on your left side, and I will lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon you. You shall bear their iniquity for the number of days that you lie on your side. 5 For I have assigned to you a number of days, three hundred and ninety days, equal to the number of the years of their iniquity. So long shall you bear the iniquity of the house of Israel." And I believe that Jeremiah also said words like such if I'm being perfectly honest hold on let me go check Yes it was Jeremiah 11 19

Jesus (AS) clearly said 'The only true God is the Father' and 'The Father is greater than I'. He also said that he had come to affirm what was in the original Torah. Now if the Torah was not already corrupted at that time or neither was it preserved, he would not have had to be given the Injeel by the Almighty.

Because Prophet Musa thought later Muslims would not be able to do it. Well, the question is, Allah SWT is omniscient, why did he tell his servant to pray 50 times? Does he know what his servant is capable of? Pls bro, please answer, I'm still confused about this question

If you look into the Hebrew word for pierce in Isa 53, Ps 22, and Zch 12:10 they are all different which shows that there is a deliberate bias here. Zach 12:10 is probably the closest because the unknown author of John thought it was a "spear pierce" if you read John 19:34. Also if you read Psalms 22:24 "he has not despised or scorned the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has LISTENED to his cry for help." This person's prayers were answered which means it could not have been Christian view of Jesus since he died. The Psalm goes on to praise the Lord because of this.

There’s a prophecy in the Psalms where David (ﷺ) (allegedly) talks about the Messiah and actually says Jesus’s name (ﷺ) in Hebrew. It’s just what they’ve been looking for! The Eid Farid was talking about! The problem for Christians is that it talks about how God will save him from all harm and lift him up with angels… Give Psalms 91 a read! The last word, usually translated as salvation, is Yeshua in the Hebrew, which is Jesus in English. Oh yeah, it’s also a prophecy confirmed by Jesus himself (allegedly) in the New Testament.

This requires an in-depth analysis of the Hebrew, and you really need to take into consideration the classical Jewish exegesis of it. The Christian 'reading' quickly falls apart. A big problem in Isaiah 53 (and many other OT books in English), is the fact that Christians translated the Hebrew, and they tend to 'massage' the text, so that it sounds more in line with what their Gospels are saying. Some of this is subtle, some is quite blatantly manipulated. Go read the same text that has been translated by Jewish linguists, and you see that the Jews themselves often use very different translations. One example of this, is that throughout Isa. 53, it keeps mentioning this person's sickness and illness. Verse 3 for example: ’îš maḵ’ōḇōwṯ wîḏūa‘ ḥōlî Meaning: a man of (physical and/or emotional) pain (and suffering), and accustomed to sickness So let's see which Bibles use "sickness" here. NIV - pain NLT - grief ESV - grief BSB - grief KJB - grief NKJV - grief New American Standard Bible - sickness (bonus point for the NASB, well done!) NASB 1995 version and 1977 version before that both used grief LSB - grief AB - grief Christian Standard Bible - sickness (great) Holman Christian Standard Bible - sickness (wonderful) ASV - grief Aramaic Bible in Plain English - suffering (not translated from the Hebrew) Brenton Septuagint Translation - suffering (not translated from the Hebrew) CEV - suffering D-RB - infirmity (point for creativity) ERV - grief GWT - suffering GNT - pain ISV - suffering JPS Tanakh 1917 - disease (accurate) Literal Standard Version - sickness (well, they're trying to be accurate, so there you have it.. bare with me) MSB - grief NAB - pain NET Bible - illness NRSV - infirmity New Heart English Bible - illness WBT - grief World English Bible - disease Young's Literal Translation - sickness Lamsa Bible - grief (not translated from the Hebrew) Geneva Bible of 1587 - infirmities Bishops' Bible of 1568 - infirmities Coverdale Bible of 1535 - infirmities CPDV - infirmity Peshitta HBT - sufferings (not translated from the Hebrew) Smith's Literal Translation - affliction I mean, I think I count nine that either use sickness, illness or disease, out of 39 Bible translations. Maybe ten if we count "affliction". They dropped "infirmity" very quickly. And most Christians probably don't read those Bibles anyway. But that's ~25% that put "sickness" there. The rest just puts pain, suffering or grief. These three don't really communicate the being sick part. They're more conveniently open to interpretation, and how do Christians interpret that? Jesus suffered for their sins on the cross, and that was painful, and it caused him grief. But that excludes being sick. Being sick wouldn't even come to mind, unless it's specifically translated as such, which you see is what most of the 'literal' Bible translations do. So what of it? Well, in the Gospels, Jesus is never actually sick. So that's a problem. Or maybe the word ḥōlî doesn't mean "sick". Well, let's have a look at some other verses that use this word, and how they are translated in those same Bibles. Note that the following examples clearly have nothing to do with prophesying Jesus' suffering. I'll keep this short. Deuteronomy 7:15 kāl ḥōlî - every sickness NIV - The LORD will keep you free from every disease. NLV - And the LORD will protect you from all sickness. ESV - And the LORD will take away from you all sickness. BSB - And the LORD will remove from you all sickness. KJB - And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness. NKJV - And the LORD will take away from you all sickness. You get the point. That exact same list of Bible translations I used before, without exception, every single one of them translates ḥōlî in Deu. 7:15 as "sickness". 2 Kings 8:9 ha’eḥyeh mêḥolî zeh - shall I recover from this sickness NIV - Will I recover from this illness? NLV - Will I recover from this illness? ESV - Shall I recover from this sickness? Same thing. Without exception, ḥolî is translated by all to mean "sickness". And this happens in all cases where the word ḥolî occurs, throughout the OT, and they consistently translate it to mean "sickness". But when they have this text that they think ought to be discribing Jesus Christ, then all of a sudden, the vast majority of them say it means "pain, suffering, grief", because if the Christian common folk read "sickness", they're left scratching their heads: "When was Jesus ever afflicted with disease, suffering from ilness, or accustomed to sickness?" And this is just one example of how they manipulate the meanings of Isaiah 53. There are more of these instances. One major aspect to Isaiah's (and other OT books) allusions to this messianic figure, is that while he's presented as a singular individual at the surface level of those texts, he actually represents the Twelve Israelite Tribes as a whole, and throughout the centuries. This is well-known amongst scholars, but Christians in general haven't a clue. When you read the text like that; i.e. by keeping in mind that whatever's being said about this singular individual also has to be applied to all the Israelites throughout history, then the Christian narrative simply does not explain the text. If this individual perishes, as he does in the four Gospels, then that would effectively translate to the extinction of the Tribes. The Israelites go on existing, because the Messiah is still alive. Had he been executed, then that would've meant the end of the Children of Israel, according to how you have to read and understand Isaiah. There's a lot more that can be said about this chapter, but let's leave it at that. Assalaamu aleikum.

The “Son” is a masochist who wants to hurt himself because he wants to forgive the sins of all who believes in him. The “Holy Ghost” is another weird person, he likes to possess other people and write books / gospels that contradicts each other.

Read Jeremiah 11:19 Jeremiah descrobes himself as "Like a lamb to the slaughter" His enemies say "Let us cut him off from the world of the living" Isaiah 53 7-8 "Led like a lamb to the slaughter" "Cut off from the land of the living" This is an intertextual point of contact that demonstrates that the author of Isaiah was aware of jeremiah and sculpted his narrative around HIM, not jesus. Jesus is retrospectively injected into the verse with christian interpretations. Not only that, but gospel authors shaped their [largely] fictitious accounts of jesus on the OT in order to make the claim that he fulfilled prophest. It is a methodology that they adopted from their direct/indirect influence; paul of tarsus who tries to prove his "dying rising saviour mangod atoning sacrifice" with the OT. Another example of a retrospective embellishment to make jesus match the OT is the author of john's gospel, it's the only one (and last produced gospel) to mention jesus as pierced in his hands [and ran through with spear] in order to more closely align with the Isaiah suffering servant motif (isaiah 53 that i mentioned already) of being pierced for transgressions In conclusion; isaiah is not about jesus, it's about jeremiah but christians appropriated it due to desperation to make jesus have pre-eminence

I explained to AVERY more than once that what he is reading (Isaiah Ch. 53)...Isaiah is talking about the SERVANT...ISRAEL...not just one person The Christians deliberately MISTRANSLATE the HEBREW to make it fit their narrative It isn't relevant if we as Muslims accept what is written in that book...I only need to point out the HEBREW words that he is MISTRANSLATING into English. Example: I showed Avery in the Hebrew Lexicon for Isaiah 53:8 they put in English...for the transgression of my people 👉WAS HE STRICKEN.👈 In HEBREW it TRULY reads...“For the transgression of my people they (למו) (LAMO) were stricken.” The word they (למו) (LAMO) is 3rd person plural and clearly indicates that this verse does not refer to a single individual...whom the Christians pretend is Jesus (PBUH).
