I used to love Slifer the most, but now Ra has become my favorite with all of the support and his double edge sword effect of taking all of your life points is interesting. Happy to say I got Ra from the one collection box I got even though didn’t have too great hits from the packs

seeing those old school foils being pulled bring such nostalgia...man. I remeber there was a ultra rare axe in spell ruler lol we would use it to pump up our monsters by 1000 attack was like really good back in the day :P Axe of Despair? Hah! Wow old times....:P !

Obelisk has always stuck out with the blue border. His pose always makes me laugh though. He looks like a buff dude in a gym waiting awkwardly for a machine to open. Slifer is my favorite to play tho.

I don’t think those scratches are just from being in the back. I pulled Red Eyes as my sparkly boi and when looking it over it has almost the exact same scratches on the front but the glittery foil hides them really well. So it looks like it’s a general printing issue. That combined with the non-English attributes shows how poor the quality control was on these cards. Hopefully Konami steps their game up for the next wave of QC rares

I don't think you need the card with the old text for a format like goat. You just need to play it as if you are using the old text. However, CED is banned in goat regardless.

so question: Are the god cards just proxies in this set since they don't have their effects written on them? If so at that point Konami might as well have made them look like the anime cards. Wonder if you could just look up the real card if you're playing with friends though I know that it would be a pain.

Imma say Slifer is still the best god card, Ra a close second. Just imagine playing the infinite cards spell and then have Slifer on the field with you having like 13 cards in your hand. Also that second ability to lower attack is chefs kiss. But fr fr imma have to get my self a box or two of these.
