For all Pavelski fans ( and I'm one of them ) : you ( and me lol ) should stop expecting him to be always winning just because he puts good clips on stream and is often rank 1 overall. A tournament situation is totally different from a chill game in experimental or ranked, stress is part of the competition (not to mention the connection problems), and I would like to underline that it's not only Pavelski who played bad but mostly Godly who was really good that day (the proof is in all the previous games he played) maybe the best mordex in EU.

There is something that seems to be scary to accept, or difficult to admit: Pavelski gets scared in tournaments, under pressure he doesn't perform the same. Although in this tournament he had connection problems, he is inconsistent, in all tournaments he performs poorly. "the 1v1 world champion" just because Jaeyun was released... How many season tournaments has he won? the proofs are there, he is a player who on stream, makes amazing clips to Swata, Simple, Acno, plays with everyone as if they were children and is always ranked 1 global, but in tournaments, he is crushed by each one of them And it doesn't show who he is.

He's different in tournaments because the players are way better than in casual queues and are trying way harder than players in ranked queues. That's just how it is, pav is quite far from being the best in eu. And it's not really him being different and playing badly in tournaments, the opponents are just on a much higher level and are trying much harder than what you usually see in his clips.

Pavelski and Godlyare two people I love watching the most recently. NA and SA has some good players too but man, Godly's incredible game knowledge and how he applies them to the game makees him a dominant force similar to how LDZ and Dobrein had solved the game 2 years before anybody else, watching Godly is like watching a perfect player do the most optimal selections mid game. Pavelski on the other hand is an absoute maniac that does combos you dream of doing in ranked, combos that you do in Training and think to yourself "Nah fam nobody is gonna get hit by that let alone I ain't taking that risk in the first place" IN THE MIDST OF TOURNAMENTS TOP 8. Bro is an absolute mad lad that gives the game such a spice. Win or not he is an amazing player that wasn't seen before and now in 2024 we still haven't seen anybody like him yet. People like Sandstorm and many 1v1 monsters of NA and Eu AND the new rising stars of SA solved the game like how Godly did but still I like watching Godly's version of it more, while the PEAK Original Pavelski has yet to meet his rival in his way of playing to this day.

people forget that these are ALL pros, pavelski isnt gonna just steam roll through everyone, he makes high elo ranked look easy but going up against the highest of the high is a different story, they all pretty much mastered the game its more of just a game of who can be more consistent and land better reads, their skill gap isnt noticeable at all, this is a 50/50 through and through. I see this with sets like sandstorm vs java or boomie vs luna, people discredit the underdog by saying "oh if pavelski tried" or "sandstorm hasnt practiced" is so lame to me, they DID try and still have years of pro play experience, just accept they wont win them all. props to godly for going crazy
