There's 1 build that is consistent and that is kindred crit (kraken and then every crit item like a normal adc) Then you have On hit and that is highly dependent on both teams composition

crit is not consistent crit is snowbally and collector second merf is awful against tanky comps even more so now. + the bf sword build path sucks for junglers if you dont snowball. essence reaver is bad unless you're lane kindred. the only consistent crit items are ie and pd for kindred and even then if you're not really ahead its rough to do a crit build. onhit is much more consistent and a lot easier to build on a junglers income if you're not snowballing

onhit with something like kraken > trinity >cleaver/botrk is much more consistent than gambling on snowballing and them not being tanky to afford a crit build. and no that doesnt mean crits bad but consistent builds onhit is better for that
