It was a great overview of the current state of the engine and where it's going, to start GodotCon off with! It was really cool to be able to meet Juan and Ariel in real life, they're super nice people.

I've been enjoying Godot 4 under C# for a year now. Thanks to all the contributors for making this awesome engine possible.

Just curious why you prefer c# over gdscript ? I'm new one to Godot and hasitate what is better choice. I'v got some C basics but work mostly in Ruby/Javascript

Are we getting Godot 4.4 for Christmas?
@natan_amorim_moraes9 күн бұрын
no, it's not even on Beta, a new Godot minor version normally takes at least 6 months to come out

I really love Godot and how a Latin American Open Source project has come to far :,D And the future seems bright. I'm learning a lot of topics so one day I can contribute to the source code.

I love Godot. The program , the open source mentality and its grow'th. After I finished my campaigns/mods for l4d2 In a year or 2. I will switch from engine and start making my first fps game in Godot. Can't wait, but you gottah finish what you started.

I wonder if actively attacking fork projects repositories is part of the process of making it thrive...
@RobbPage11 күн бұрын
you don't make it thrive by taking ignorant ideological stances and thinking you can FORCE your users to agree with you. if you continue down that ignorant path godot will die. or someone that isn't insane will fork it. hope this helps.

I was so much convinced to Godot before that flame on twitter, banning developers etc, now have doubts but I would like to give them a chance, from the other side... I wonder if person responsible for it faced any consequences for dividing great community :(
