To clarify myself tho. I wasn't using the word "damn" as someone would use to curse someone or something...as english language has been modified over time. I was simply using the word "damn" as an expression of excitement/surprise as I and many use the word today. If the word is offensive enough in the form of expression that I used it in, to be encouraged. Then I take it back and insert WHOA Bizz! If that's better. 👍

Wow, crazy. I remember growing up listening to secular rap, and I was always drawn by the artists that had songs with "deep" content. Then I became a Christian and realized the stuff I thought was deep really wasn't that deep. And even if it could be considered deep in one sense, much of it was still foolish--glorifying things that shouldn't be gloried, etc. That's why I love Biz, he can skillfully touch on a topic, And speak on it powerfully, truthfully, wisely, because it's coming from a Biblical perspective.

I agree 💯 percent! I’m an 80’s baby. Hip hop raised me. Hip hop was my mother and father. I was a hip hop fanatic! I could recite whole albums back to back, even the skits! I took pride in lyricism and boom bap 90’s era beats. I used to think “conscious” emcees were sooo intelligent. I listened intently word for word like it was the gospel being spoken. I used to think they were really dropping jewels on us! But once the blinders were removed and I found the true knowledge and wisdom of the Most High, I couldn’t even listen to that stuff anymore. It doesn’t hit the same for me! Now I can hear the lies and immaturity in the rhymes. The obscenities. The incompetence. I can hear the deception and the fraudulence. Now I know that “hip hop” is a brainwashing mechanism directly from the enemy designed to destroy the minds of the listeners. Hip hop is the new crack! I fell for the okie doke like so many of us! I held so many emcees on a pedestal, unbeknownst that they were indoctrinating me with the views and values of the enemy. Hip hop turned me into an accidental satanist. Now with God’s help, I’m working on reversing decades worth of garbage and empty philosophy out of my DNA. When I came across emcees like Bizzle, Sevin, and Eshon Burgundy, it was like a blessing to my ears! I used to laugh at the thought of “Christian” rap! I thought it was so corny. I would have never thought I would be listening religiously, today! I was wrong! Some of these so called “Christian” emcees are wayyyyy nicer than these mainstream rappers. Some of these dudes are ridiculous with the rhymes, super talented emcees who get busy! I thought I would have to give up my music forever, but I was able to find a healthier alternative that fills the void and I’m so grateful! All praises due to the Most High. Salute 🫡

This video speaks to us ALL, not just the men. I definitely have this issue and have been praying for God to help me!! And He has, I'm just not completely healed yet lol. This one time I was waiting at this left turn light & the line was really long, there was a car I thought trying to cut through this commercial parking lot to cut the line. Of course, no one was letting them in nor was I (initially) because we all thought they were cutting. Well, I ended up letting them in front of me & it turned out they were trying to get to a stopped vehicle at the front of the line which was causing the backup. I felt dumb. This person was trying to help a family member whose car broke down, yet we're thinking they're trying to cut the line. Everyone isn't always trying to get over on you, you never know what is taking place is someone else's life or what they're going thru esp at that moment.

So I pulled over like I was parking and when he passed me I followed him to his house He went inside and had something on him behind his back and looked ready as hell. Eventually i just left after exchanging words but The “man” in me really believed I was trying to look out for my family but a brother in the church had to shut me up when he said if anything I put them in more danger than I would’ve by just driving home Not my proudest moment at all. I have rage that consumes me The Bible says if you hate your brother. You’re a murderer I don’t want to answer to God for that when I face him

This song hit home for a lot of us men. We all battle through this of wanting to regulate on others. I hate how my pride is but i try to see it as the song says. Take the "L" and live for God's way. Other day, a guy got mad at the gas station (parking issues) got verbal with me, i stepped out the ride and called him out. He went in the car, i did too and felt sooo guilty. Started praying and asking God for forgiveness. I see how ugly our carnal nature is...the old me wouldve said "**** this fool, wassup"!!! Now, i try hard to wrestle with that sin....
