I use the godox ad300 pro on my channel for photoshoots. I love this light especially the power of the modeling lamp has slight advantages over the godox ad200. Nice video.

@OpticalNoise - hey Rob, great video, love the practical approach. Question though about the mount - obviously smaller than the Bowens; however like you I run multiple AD200's, and I have an AD600 for those times when I want to light up the 140cm Softbox and the (2) 685's. All my modifiers are Bowens and was curious if there is an adapter for the Godox to Bownens mount system.... modifiers aren't hugely expensive, but when everything is set up to run bowens... it could get pricey to have to replace it all.

Hey yes. So you can screw on a Bowens mount like you do on the ad400. The beauty of the ad300 I think is having its own mount and smaller things. But yes there is a attachable Bowens mount or even just getting a s2 bracket will go strait to bowens

Dude... nicely done video. As far as your question on what other things... I picked up the Canon M50 to do videos for my college classes and for my leatherwork stuff (@anchoredleather). The kit lens is the EF-M 15mm-45mm f/3.5-6.3. That was okay for starting out but I picked up a refurbished EF 50mm f/1.8 that has really shown me what a prime lens can do. So, my question is... what lens do I buy next? I can't invest a lot, will likely be looking for a refurbished lens, but can now use both the EF-M and the EF mounts (I got a cheap EF-EF-M adapter). What I'm looking at is the EF-M 22mm STM. I don't do portrait. I need to do more product shots for my leatherwork, so I think the 22mm works for that. When I'm doing classroom lecture stuff, the 50mm is okay but sometimes I'd like something a bit wider and I'm wondering if the 22mm would work for classroom videos. Anyway, that's a bit question. I'd love to see a 22mm vs. the cheaper 24mm comparison. Or even compared to the 11mm-22mm.

Can you please advise how to take apart godox ad300. I drop mine. Is out of warranty and not flashing anymore. I replaced the bulb, the display and continuous light work fine. Thanks

I dont know how to help here. iv never taken one apart. I would send it in to be fixed. I would not advise you doing it. im just a photographer . I havent repaired one

nice presentation. you mentioned that you use ad300pro for video. It is only 12W modeling light. is it enough compared to 30W modeling light of ad400pro and 60W ml60bi ? can we let the modeling light ON during one hour in a closed ads85s closed softbox ? what about new ads60s softbox for ad300pro ?

Not even close to the ml60. You can use it but is not going to work much. Ml60 is amazing

This is much stronger. Speed lights are more affordable but these are stronger. Both work great though
