Currently, the app uses DMX and CRMX protocols for remote control of the lights, so you only need to check if the lights have DMX. TL60 and SZ150R can be controlled through the Knowled app, while other lights can be controlled via Bluetooth connection using the Godox Light app.

Will the database of fixtures be updated to firstly include all of you own lights that have DMX, the older TL60s are not there, plus all other manufacturers lights that also have DMX? I am sure you can manually define a fixture but it would make things much simpler if the list of fixtures was complete. Also when will a bluetooth enabled reciever be available?

Thanks for reaching out! We are continuously working to enhance our database to support all Godox and Knowled products with DMX and CRMX. For other brands' lights, users currently need to set up the light manually, but we will figure out some ways to improve it. @@GODOXGlobal thank you for replying, I did notice though that you do include some fixtures from ARRI so was hoping all other brands would follow suite. There are also quite a few of your own lights currently missing specifically the ones I actually own including the TL60. Also if I am going to set up my own fixtures can you do a how video

Hi such a great little set up the timolink trx and your knowledge app but totally agree we need a video on how to set up other brands into it ......for example the new pavotube 30 xr with built in crmx this should work ?and the evoke 1200b also with built in crmx also should work ?

@@GODOXGlobal how does one manually add a fixture profile into the app? The preset profiles all work fine (all teh Godox fixtures and the Orbiter and Skypanel profiles) but I have lights for which there aren't profiles and there seems to be no option to manually map and add a fixture profile?

@@alexblackmore7744 Hi there, thx for reaching out!! If you're looking to add a fixture profile for lights manually, please refer to the steps below: 1. Find the Fixture Bank button in the top right corner of the main interface 2. Create Fixture Bank 3. Choose the +Add Mode option to define the type of light you're adding, such as CCT, RGBW, or other modes depending on your fixture's capabilities. 4. Use the +Add Channel to input the specific DMX channel information for your fixture. Each channel will correspond to different light settings such as dimming, color changes, or other effects. 5. Confirm your entries to save the profile, then, this mode for the fixture will appear in the local fixture bank when adding lights. PS. For the exact mode details and DMX channel specifications for your particular fixtures, refer to the manufacturer's website or the user manual that came with your lighting equipment.
