What make jin woo strong is the ability to grind. I mean both characters are grinding type but Jin woo overall power increase exponentially. For example, Say jin Woo power level is 10 million while Rimuru is 110 million. Jin Woo will first need to defeat another character with around or less than 10 million power. Then, he revive them as his slave. Next, he can start targetting character with around or less than 20 million power level. He team up with the first slave meaning he got around (10 million + another 10 million) power. He keep grinding by doing that and voila he got 20 companions easily around or less than Rimuru power level.
