Beautiful place! I sure miss living in the country, but I'm getting older and just can't manage the heavy workload anymore. Anyone that has ever owned country acres with big animals know it's tons of work no matter how hot or cold it gets. You might want to think about planting thornless blackberry plants more near the house and save yourself some pain. In fact if I had the space you do I'd also plant cherry trees and pecan trees.

This is such a hoot, watching all the animals tagging along and I can imagine what they're thinking. You've got a real nice farm, you and Jami should be proud of it as well as the animals. Not bored at all!! I just can't say it enough, I love how you guys are with those animals, (fur babies). I'm not able to have farm animals because I'm in a wheelchair from a stroke. So for me watching LE try to hug Ringo, running losing his flip flops, screaming like a little girl and laughing so hard at it is just such a pleasure. I do have large dogs, both were rescue animals from local shelters, and both are neutered. My German Shepard is a disabled assist animal, an he was just born to it, he learned so fast and is such a blessing to me. Thank you for all you do

Thank you for the tour. You really have some beautiful property. Someone once told me Texas is flat, with nothing on it, so it's boring. After watching this, I know that's not true. When you were at your spot by the river, I could imagine how nice it was way back when. Growing up, I was lucky enough to be in a family that loved that sort of thing. Our summer cottage was next door to my cousins, and on Saturdays, the men would catch a bunch of fish, while the rest of us snapped beans , sliced tomatoes, and shucked corn. When the men got back with the fish, everything was cooked and set out on a huge picnic table. After eating, the fire began. We burned our paper products and such, then we all circled around it as the sun went down, and sang old fashioned songs and hymns. There was usually about 30 of us, singing, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. I have fallen asleep many times laying in front of that fire, and was either carried to bed or left there to sleep under the stars, the fire my only. That's the vision I got when you showed us all that spot near the river. Thank you for sparking a great old memory. I love your family..people AND animals, and I love being on your property every day. Thank God forall

Follow in your dad's footsteps take the cows and goats down there they would sharp have the area cleared ..Out of interest see how your area nearest home is looking nice and cleared and looking beautiful. Why not extend some fencing and do bit by bit clearing the wooded area . What a beautiful gorgeous area and piece of land you live on . Your sure blessed to live in such a beautiful area with all that land ...Get L.E and the boys on the job to help ..Your so lucky and so will the boys be when they inherit your experience .
