As an Italian I am very proud of Mauro conducting this whole interview in English. He is very very literate and fluent in Italian and a pleasure to listen to, its too bad he has to convey his thoughts in a second language which may make them see diminished. but BRAVO MAURO!

I understand his English perfectly. That is because he thinks very clearly. That is the mark of a very sharp intellectual mind. Even though his English is limited, he chooses his words very accurately. I greatly admire people like that. I'm Asian and am deeply interested in spirituality and human history that relates to spirituality. Bravo Mauro!

Mauro Biglino has done conferences mainly in Italy but also in Europe since the past 13 years at least. His work gathered more and more attention by the public and then also mainstream media in Italy. I'm so happy to see him finally crossing the borders of Italy and reaching a wider audience with this interview in English language. He is one of the biggest anthropologist of our generation and he deserves millions of views. He has been a source of inspiration to me for so many years. Thank you Mauro, and Graham for this wonderful collaboration you did.

I bought his book, I am struggling a bit because English is not my first. However why I stopped around the 100th page that to me it made no sense, talking about the content, the author did a great work, it was extremely interesting till a point I realized I would know nothing about the intelligent creator(s) of life.

Mauro Biglino is not an anthropologist but is a scholar of ancient languages, specializing in translation from ancient Hebrew into Latin and then into Italian. He translated books for the theological schools of the Vatican. Mauro Biglino was hosted only once on television in Italy and was literally prevented from speaking.

Wonderful! Two legends in conversation. Mauro is right when he refers to the editorial notes of the New Jerusalem Bible which concede that "The Almighty" or "Almighty God" is an inaccurate or false translation of El Shaddai. In my latest book "The Eden Conspiracy," which touches on my collaboration with Mauro, I go into this controversy and argue that the root meaning of the words El Shaddai is "The Powerful One, the Destroyer," a character who goes to great lengths to prove himself worthy of the name. This meaning is referenced and dramatised in the action of the Bible itself. I also want to support Mauro's point about Yahweh requiring child-killing. If we are to believe the narrator of the Moses narratives, of I Samuel 15, and the book of Ezekiel, Yahweh many times required the slaughter of women and children and got rid of those of his deputies, eg King Saul, who wouldn't do it. What Mauro says here is well known at an academic level. The scandal is that this information is not transmitted from academia to the rank and file of communities of faith. The Christian concept of God is of a pure, loving, transcendent being the source of the cosmos and everything in it. There is no word for that concept in the Hebrew Scriptures. The word Yahweh came to be understood that way, but in the beginning of the Hebrew Scriptures it was used to denote one of the elohim (powerful ones) one of a number subordinate to a being referred to as El Elyon. Clearly that is something quite different to the Christian God-concept. I agree with Graham that the Atlantean cataclysm was the cataclysm at the latter boundary of the Youger Dryas Cold Period. My books argue that many of the world's creation myths are actually the cultural memory of the recovery or rehabilitation of civilization of Earth after that flood event. Survivors on high country which had not been inundated can be found in Filipino narratives, Mesoamerican, Mohawk. The proximity of Mount Ararat to Karaca Dag is also notable. According to research in 1998 by the Max Planck institute and the University of Norway in As, Karaca Dag is the point at which our ancestors "mysteriously," "suddenly" learned the secrets of agronomy and animal husbandry. It's proxmity to Gobekli Tepe supports Graham's argument that our great leap forward was facilitated by visitors who may have been the survivors of a previous civilization. I would go further regarding the Ark of the Covenant which presents itself in the Bible as, among other items, as an ancient technology. The writers did understand it as a weapon and as a device for remote communication. The Urim and the Thummim similarly. We have the ruach / kavod (Ezekiel uses the words interchangeably.) Its operation as a passenger-carrying flying device is detailed in the book of Ezekiel. Ezekiel also references advanced weaponry, such as the keli mappasow and the keli mashetow, which apparently enabled six individuals to ethnically cleanse a whole district. (So yes, elohim had vices!) I am with Graham in suggesting that altered states of consciousness play a part in the Biblical narratives concerning contact experiences. The use of Kaneh Bosm oil in the high priestly ceremonies, the out of body experience of Apostle Paul in the New Testament, for instance. My books argue that before the great redaction of the C6thBCE Judaism was a canon of memory of contact with and colonisation by other civilization, and was not a body of texts teaching monotheistic worship and obedience to law. For me as for Mauro the key to this previous world comes down to questions of translation: what do the words mean?! So much more to say, but I will pause there. Am just feeling fired up by seeing these two great scholars in conversation!! Thank you Graham and Mauro for meeting and sharing.

El-o-him is the same concept of (L)or(D) (Light or Dark). You see, these masters and teachers were also known as serpents (meaning to move forward because snakes cannot move backwards). The reason why much of this knowledge is kept from us and hidden is because the original serpents or dragons or Elohim were black people. They originated from Africa... and what people fail to realize is that Egypt is in Africa as well. This is not to make things about race, however it is significant in history because there was 12 leaders in which divided the world into quadrants (imagine putting a cross on a world map) and each ruled there own territory. They were all from the same bloodline though. You see, up north they call these figures druids, which had power over vikings. This is why vikings also would carry the symbol of a dragons head. In South America they were feathery serpents. And they are described in other places all over the world. When archaeologist recognized that so many of these artifacts were built of black people, they destroyed it and dismissed it because it does not align with their view on which people occupied which lands. Again not to make this about race, but it is the explanation why even Jesus was persecuted by Orthodox Jews. Because they either did not recognize him as one of them, or because his ethnicity and origins threatened there hierarchy. I could also talk about how many Orthodox Jews translate the Talmud in racist ways or how King Herod wanted to kill every infant Hebrew male because they all had the birthright, but the main thing is that- the Bible is based out of the Middle East and Northern Africa, and people from those areas were black people. Plain and simple. Once we as a society accepts the truth about our fellow black people and people of Africa, it is no longer a "race" of the races. We are all human beings and should strive to learn the truth, not to oppress people out of jealousy, fear or envy.

I always asked but never get an asnwer about Qurán? Is it the same as the Bibles? What comments do you have about Qur'an?
@lxconic
@lxconic Жыл бұрын
@@LaliEri1989 Good question. The Quran is similar to the Bible in the ways that it talks about similar figures such as A-b-ra-ham, Jacob(Is-ra-el) and Moses. However, the Bible is more keyed in on a specific lineage of Jacob. The Quran is geared towards respecting monotheism and upholding a certain behavior. We also have to recognize that these two texts were written in separate empires. It's estimated that the Bible was written over a period of 1500 years, so empires such as the Assyrians and Greeks continued to add to it and change the language of it. The Quran was written by followers of the prophet Muhammad in a time when most people in the Middle East were separated into tribes and lived somewhat nomadic. So, to give a short answer a long reply, they both offer wisdom in their own respects. However, the language differences and regional differences require us to have to examine them as two separate holy scriptures. The Quran will teach you how to live righteously, the Bible will teach you how the law came about. Not to say that both do not do this, but to say that they are different focal points.

@@enomisitnoc3653 Biglino **is** a conspiracy theorist and a fraud, and the Vatican has nothing to do with it. Anyone who has a modicum of knowledge about this matter will tell you how ridiculous he is with all his aliens, his spaceships, his launch pads for rockets, genetic engineering, and so on. The Vatican either doesn't know who he is or it doesn't care in the slightest, because he has done whatever he wanted, he even appeared a few months ago on the main channel of the Italian State Television (Rai 1) speaking about biblical aliens. For years he has been free to publicly talk about the Bible with catholic priests who evidently were not forbidden to do so by their superiors.

But the difference is they have to bend it to make it fit into the mainstream narrative. They have to ignore any evidence that suggest much older and more advanced civilisations existed and stick to the doctrine they’ve been dictated t otherwise they don’t advance in their careers. @@robertocurci9149No, Biglino lied intentionally. It's true that his English is awful but he understands it much, much better that he speaks it because for decades he's been listening to English-speaking authors and reading their books and papers in their original language. He also studied Hebrew on Hebrew-English dictionaries because until recently there was no major dictionary available in Italian. He therefore perfectly understood the questions Graham and his son repeatedly asked him about the origin of the elohim. If you want further proof, he was recently interviewed in English on the Pari Center channel and he clearly stated that the elohim were not human. So, why did he lie to Hancock? Because Biglino is an opportunist with no moral compass. He knew that Graham doesn't agree with the ancient aliens hypothesis and he wanted to please the illustrious guest who's given him access to a worldwide audience. And that's not the only lie he told in this interview: Biglino has lied throughout his career and here we can listen to a good chunk of his repertoire, including a new lie he's come up in the past year to boost his international career.

Subtitles aren't enough to provide accurate information: you should also inform your friends that from a linguistic point of view Mauro Biglino told a lot, really a lot of falsehoods. Ask anyone who has studied ancient Hebrew and they'll laugh at him. He also told many lies about himself: for example he never worked for the Vatican in any way, shape, or form, and that's because he has no qualification. By his own admission he only took about 20 private Hebrew lessons when he was already in his early fifties. Here in Italy he's a well known charlatan and has a criminal record for massive financial frauds. He has made a career rehashing the "ancient aliens" theory which is still the core of all his work, but incredibly he repeatedly denied that to Hancock. The only thing he's right about is a very general one, i.e. religion is indeed a stupid and harmful fantasy, but not for the reason he says which are lies upon lies designed to sell books with "shocking" revelations.

@@giorgiodaurelio9492 Alright, I will reply to you. 1. Considering Biglino is able to navigate throughout the Bible chapters more than proficiently tells me he definitely knows his subject. After watching this video, I became certain he's well versed in theology, at least from the perspective of the Biblical lore. 2. I have personally fully read Bible in two different languages and what Biglino's talking about in the video corresponds to the material from the holy book on all of the instances I came across. 3. His mentioning of Elohim (which doesn't exist in neither English, Russian, nor Czech) was discussed by multiple sources, I have heard that from at least three distinct authors. It makes complete sense, since in the Bible, for example in English, God is addressed (that happens in Genesis) as "we". A quote: "And God said: 'Let us make man in Our image, after Our likeness". Same thing happens in Russian, and Czech. I am absolutely positive it happens in all of the existing outdated versions except Hebrew and perhaps a few other languages. Hypothetically, there were multiple figures that were presented as the creators of the Earth. 4. If the end of your message implies that the metaphysical/paranormal/mystical doesn't exist, just like the scriptures are being a complete falsehood to you, I would strongly disagree. I have personally experienced many cases of what you'd refer to as metaphysical. Not only that, I can recreate those experiences at will (which would fit the conditions of the scientific method if you like) with certain types of meditation. I wouldn’t be surprised if you had never experienced anything of this nature, otherwise you'd feel different about life. And no, I am not psychotic. I'm mentally stable, I don't take drugs, I don't drink alcohol. If you'd think people like me are making this stuff up, I have no horse in the race: I am not a media person, I'm not trying to sell you anything. I am just a guy who knows what he's talking about and wants to learn about the past of the humankind and the purpose of our creation, and why human beings are capable of certain skills that fall into the category of "magic". 5. As you understand from the fourth point, I see that there's a deeper meaning in the scriptures, however, I do believe the stories are highly allegorical and distorted (on purpose). No, I don't think those are "stupid fantasies". People who are so rigid in their opinions just never experienced anything close to what I, and many others, have. Understandable, but I wouldn't want to be so close-minded. 6. Getting back to Mauro Biglino, I don't really know anything about this guy, maybe he's been misleading in the past in some of his practices, but this specific dialogue with Graham is absolutely precious in many ways. Whether most of the scriptures were falsified or not, it certainly wasn’t done solely in the purpose of the power grab or political influence (such stance is supported in my 4th clause, and there is no possible way to confirm that, it has to be achieved through individual practices).

@@asganawayaway Please read carefully what I wrote: I specifically talked about **dictionaries** , not grammars. Until 2014 no major ancient Hebrew-Italian dictionary existed. Prior to that only minor dictionaries were available, just enough for beginners, so everybody who was past the beginner level had to use Hebrew-English dictionaries as Biglino did. Regarding the grammar you mentioned, it was gifted to him by his teacher, Mr.Giuseppe Tedesco, when Biglino was no longer a young person at all: as he himself declared, he only began studying Hebrew when he was already *fifty* years old. He also said that he only took 20-25 private evening lessons because Mr. Tedesco got ill and died and he didn't search for another teacher.

I don't think it is necessary to have a complete translation by Mauro of the entire Bible. As Mauro always says in his conferences "take the Bible you have at home and replace these words": spirit/ruach, glory/kavod, eternal-forever/for a long time. For the replacement of the word "Lord" of the English Bible, things get more complicated because in the Italian translations of the Bible there are the words "altissimo" (the most high), "Dio" (God), "Signore-Eterno" ( Lord-Eternal) which we can replace with the original Hebrew words: Elyon, Elohim, Yahweh.

Then you have cherubims and other things which were advanced machines, for example some of them were flying vehicles and others were metallic androids.

Very insightful, ... What has happened to understanding the English language we use. Etymologically, the root meaning of the word " believe" is to accept that which is false / Lies as being Truth. Mr Biglino is an excellent interviewee, have heard him with Paul Wallis on similar lines. His English much improved. Namaste 🙏

I can see Graham's eyes and it looks to me he's getting motivation for his next book. The gears are turning and there's a lot to comprehend and organize. A daunting task to take these anti traditional concepts that actually make more sense and get people to change their paradigm. Ultimately this interpretation makes the most sense.

I've been following these two subjects for decades, including Graham's work and more recently Mauro's, and it's an absolute joy to hear this discussion between experts in their field come together to explore where they overlap and where they might challenge one another. I would love to hear more interviews like this in the future!

He literally just lied about the request in the book of Jeremiah for human sacrifice...Hancock doesn’t even bother to check or verify. Remarkable that Mauro Biglino can speak English this well after only learning it a few months. He must have exceptional language skills.
@gregoryshawn100
@gregoryshawn100 Жыл бұрын
Actually that's not true, Biglino studied the language many years ago. Reading books in English and listening to English-speaking authors has always been an essential part of his work, expecially since he became a public figure in 2010. What he meant is he never practiced speaking it until recently. Even his Hebrew skills are not that great, just enough to do interlinear translations which are not actual translations but merely rough drafts for didactic purposes. He doesn't speak Hebrew at all and the Jewish community in Italy has often bashed him for his gross mistakes.
@markhoffman1922

@@gregoryshawn100 I presumed he had been engaged reading and listening to English for many years, but I know from my own experience learning a language that speaking it is another skill. I am impressed that he can speak it this well after just a few months, especially learning to speak it at his age. I'm not very familiar with him. Could you elaborate on his gross mistakes? Anything specific? Also, why would the Vatican hire him if his translation skills are as bad as you say?

It is wonderful to see the world and science finally catching up to this future thinking, forward thinking man and all he has shared. Every book is thoroughly researched and he is very clear about his intentions. I am not on Netflix and if I restarted my subscription it would be to see this video. I am hoping that GaiaTV will pick up the contract to this movie or that it will be shown to more mainstream audience outside of the Netflix universe. Wow, I just got finished reading Biglio's book... I think it was Escaping Eden... fascinating. Everybody who understands how often the bible has been translated, edited, augmented, forged, etc. will appreciate the work Biglio has done.
@fuffym3472
@fuffym3472 6 ай бұрын
Escaping from Eden is not by Biglino but by Paul Walis. At any rate it makes no difference: both of them are frauds who have shamelessly rehashed the ancient aliens theory. In addition to it they have invented a conspiracy theory about "false" translations which is a very clever marketing strategy but any first-semester student of Hebrew would easily recognize it as a bunch of lies. Having said that, any rational mind knows that the Bible is just one of the many texts created by the human imagination and not at all an account of a real God's words and actions.

I came to the truth of the deception of YHWH through a simple few words from Yeshua (Issa). He said that His Father was GOOD, Can anyone honestly say that the god calling himself YHWH is a good God? Issa also never names YHWH but tells us to refer to God as Father. Mauro Biglino is a genuine scholar and I trust his work.
