It won't be amazingly perfect all at once, but keep seeking answers from God. He hears you, cares about what matters to you and sends an answer. Just keep in mind, God does not live within the construct of space/time. He created that--like a thing that sits in the palm of His hand. So when you get an answer-and you will get an answer-be ready! Sometimes answers will knock your socks off! Sometimes they melt your heart! Sometimes they settle something that your gut was wrenching over and suddenly-it's all good. Until that happens in our space/time-it can be hard. Don't give up! Those answers-they're really worth the wait.

What made you convert? How did you understand Christianity was the correct religion and not Hinduism or Judaism for example?
@blueice2004Ай бұрын
@@dark0rock I honestly don't know about other religions, but coming from Islam, Christianity makes much more sense, it answered my questions and gave me the peace I was looking for. The relationship with god is based on trust and love and that jesus is always with. while the image of god in islam is brutal and power freak, he demands to kill, enslave, to persecute others by force. Islam is also not original, while reading the Bible I discovered that quran was a glorified repeatative incoherent cheap copy, written in a theoretically dead vague language which can alert meanings whenever required to. god calls us his SLAVES in Islam. And that way of thinking is passed to Muslems, they start to see others as less humans! As for Christianity we are honored and loved, Jesus was with me from day 0. All I had to do is accept him. I didn't have to undergo 18 years of brainwashing. I wasn't forced to follow a desert freak who married 11 wives and enslaved people!

@@paivipyykonen5765 Absolutely not! Why would anyone want to? God thinks it's OK to rape people as long as you marry your victims?!? This was clearly written by bronze age men who didn't know anything! The god in the bible is a MONSTER. His lying, cheating, murder, mayham, slaughter, genocide, slavery, taking virgin as war trophies, jealous and overall unpleasant character would never make me want to have anything to do with anything he does. Do you? If so, why? This is clearly just a fairy tale book. Animals behaving like humans, giants and all kinds of nonsense. Written at a time when they used to bury their own children in a hole under their dwellings. No sir, I'm way more moral and good than falling for this clearly man made FANTASY. If you do the math God killed almost 2.500.000 people. Excluding natural disasters. Satan only Job and his family, 10. Doing GODs dirty work. If you used this book, the Holy Bible, as a moral guide you'd be arrested in any civilised country today. Do you want to worship and kneel before this clearly psychopathic being? He's more like a "celestial" dictator. Anyone demanding me to worship him isn't worthy of my worship

Clearly misunderstood God’s heart… but I get it… Bible is full of mysteries that man cannot understand unless God allows it to be revealed… before you make hateful judgement about who God is… you should at least study the Bible and prove Him wrong… rather than merely listening to few passages and stories and make your weak conclusions about God.

Genesis is literally jumping out at me , as I find myself virtually hanging on every word. Every word from Almight God , as God's Word goes forth while we await the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ , prior to the End of the Age. The signs of Jesus'second coming , as outlined in the 24th chapter of the Book of Matthew , have all come true , so Christ's return is imminent !!! Praise You , Lord Jesus !!! Thank you David. I've never been able to complete reading Genesis. But you gave us a wonderful reading so easily understood. I could forget about trying to pronounce the names. I paused to listen to each chapter again before moving on. Ever so grateful. ❤

Flawless…superb…brilliant! It’s not just David Suchet’s elegant accent and voice, but the masterful intonation and cadence with which he recites the Bible that makes it an even greater delight to hear the Word of God in joyful reverence. Thank you, David, for this timeless and great work of art! I wish it was available the ESV or NASB version as well, but I am grateful for this still! God bless the folks at God’s Able channel for making this masterpiece available!

My best friend cash got hit by a car when I took my eyes off him for ten minutes he was in my yard then he was in the street lying lifeless and whoever hit him didn’t stop. It’s a 25 mph street can’t you let my buddy cross safety instead of being evil . I’ve come here because I’m spiritual empty and broken beyond repair. Praise be the name of the lord Jesus Christ 🙏. Please help me get through this lord . My friend sent me my first bible but it’s hard to read and thought this would be good for me thank you ❤

I am very sorry for your loss. I would recommend reading starting with the New Testament from the book of Matthew till Revelation. My first book in the NT was Romans, it helped me understand what it meant to be a follower of Christ, and then I started with Matthew. David Suchet is a great narrator and I love the way he reads things. It helps me sometimes to have ambient music in the background of what he is saying so that I can pay closer attention, but I am very glad you are seeking out the Lord for help in this time. God Bless you, I will pray for you
