They do not laugh at someone else's hardship and brag about their blessings. Maybe they're just trying to share their testimony of their experience(s). Have you considered reaching out to them for better understanding of their experiences or maybe guidance on how they navigated a trial? God's people are to lift the fallen, not judge or ridicule.
