Bruh, I just found out this was a thing today. I already pre ordered the Japanese collector edition and I know that at least the films have English subtitles but not the special features. I wanted to preorder the steelbook but both Walmart and Amazon are out of stock. If they don’t restock then I’ll just have to buy the regular 4k or blu ray version. Also the Japanese collector edition arrived today and I’m happy that it looks very different from the steelbook

just checked the website and yes indeed it will include an English dub. The Japanese language releases include audio in Japanese or an English dub, with subtitles in English, French, and Spanish.

Thats so wierd that its not being released dubbed. They most likely are lazy or dont want to use the dub languages from netflix.

IMO. Watching this film in the natural Japanese language with English subtitles is better. There is more emotion felt hearing the actor's natural voices than if they were flat dubbed in English. Same when I watch Bruce Lee movies... I prefer them in the original Cantonese Chinese language with subtitles. Rather than in the goofy sounding English dub.
