(Godzilla: Save the Earth - Melee is a fan-made mod project by Godzilla fans for Godzilla fans. Originally beginning in 2021 as a simple "overhaul" of the 2004 game Godzilla: Save the Earth by Pipeworks Studios, STE Melee evolved over the years into an unofficial fully-fledged sequel to the Pipeworks Godzilla games we've all been waiting for! As originally a PS2 game, STEM runs in an emulator, so it can only be played on PC/Linux/Steam Deck. STE Melee has not yet been released, as it's a huge, all-encompassing remaster that includes additional content. There's no estimated release date as this is a completely free project done out of passion. In the meantime, please enjoy these windows into our development!)

The Terror of Mechagodzilla reference entrance for Godzilla here works absolutely perfectly! I love all the gimmicks he has as well, the Save The Earth move-set mixed with the Unleashed (Wii) move-set is unique, and the jump-slam move from Godzilla Vs Megaguirus is another level!!! Fantastic job!

It actually floors me every time you and your team make these updates. Like I have this thing in my head of "oh you're working with and modding preexisting characters, there's only so much you can do to change the game" and then you come out with an update that quadruples the quality of the model and completely remolds the character to be so much more fun looking. I love the pipeworks game but they never made godzilla look this fun!

Seeing this makes me wanna see Showa Godzilla and have him use various moves such as the drop kick, flight, and even the dance as a taunt. I can even see him doing that thing he does where he swings his arm out of frustration. I think he should also be slightly smaller than the other godzillas as well to match the accurate scaling. If not, normal size is fine, too.

@@IndominusRex-wc1eyi loved Unleashed as a kid when it came out in 2006. however, going back as an adult almost 20 years later, the game is literally unplayable with how bad the fighting mechanics are. it was a huge stepdown from the previous titles. the only positive about Unleashed is its roster & rules menu. DAMM & STE however are still a good time

there is a mission in Save the Earth’s adventure mode where Godzilla swims. the animation was borrowed from that mission. what they programmed to triggers the animation when in water though, I do not know
