I have a soft spot for the original 1954/56 movie as well as 1964's "Godzilla vs Mothra" & 1965's "Monster Zero". As for modern Godzilla movies, you might be right. This could very well be the best one. Warner/Legendary has a lot at stake with this movie & they can't afford to get it wrong. If the trailer is any indication, we have nothing to worry about. Looks like we will get just the right amount of monster action & human drama. Nice reaction.

I hope you are right. This could be the best Godzilla movie of all time. The ones TOHO make are really pointless, this movie better redeem and renew my love for Godzilla, then again. This is Mike Daugherty or whatever his last name is. If he can pull off a good X Men movie, he can do a great Godzilla, and by the look of this trailer, it's going that way. Also, I was watching this through Facebook and just looked at the trailer without realize it WAS the trailer and I was like "HOLY SH**. OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD". I literally flipped out. I hope this movie turns things around for Godzilla, don't you think?
