Best sounding scenes with timestamps: Right at the beginning the Zero sounds like it’s flying right over top of you from behind 4:17 - Godzilla’s roar is loud to the right behind you his stomps have deep bass 13:18 - you can hear the people in Tokyo all around you and some yelling in the rear right 20:03 - rain sounds like it’s falling all around you 38:38 - Godzilla rising from the ocean flipping the boat has deep bass as ocean water splashes around you 41:50 - the mine explosion has deep bass as debri flys around you 42:31 - the ships guns firing at Godzilla has deep bass and surround 44:01- Godzilla’s atomic blast then roar has super deep bass and can be heard behind you 53:42 - the mines explode all around you with good bass 54:07 - the alarm sounds all around you 54:35 - the people running and yelling in Tokyo sound all around you as Godzilla comes stepping with deep bass 55:05 - the bus flying in the air sounds right above you! Followed by Godzilla stomping and roaring with deep rumbling bass 58:35 - Godzilla swiping and destroying the buildings has debri flying all around you 59:49 - Godzilla’s atomic breath has good sound as the explosion has deep bass and debri flys all around you 1:01:50 - Godzilla’s roar is loud all around you with bass 1:36:45 - you can hear the water from the ship all around you and the loud roar from the speaker has deep bass Then the announcers voice and siren is all around you 1:37:29 - Godzilla throwing the ship has good bass 1:39:13- Godzillas stomps have deep rumbling hard hitting bass as the announcer can be heard all around you 1:40:38 - the plane sounds like it flys right over you from behind 1:43:30 - sirens go off around you as the plane flys from the right rear speaker to the front left speaker 1:44:10 - Godzillas atomic breath has deep bass followed by a loud explosion that rumbles deep with air flying by you 1:52:52 - Godzilla’s roar is loud with deep bass 1:54:23 - the plane’s explosion has deep bass 1:56:39 - you can hear the crowd cheering around you

Dude I have the HTA9 also and was using Advanced Audio Volume for months. I turned that off recently and the HTA9 really shines. The dynamic range is just so Mick wider. Give it a try 👍

@@GEOSIMRACING no audio drc and no advanced volume etc...if u want lower lows and higher highs disable audio drc, Can someone confirm how the truehd atmos supposed to be display on tv, if i press display in hta9 remote while playing disc with truehd(Dolby Atmos)

I watched GMO 4K on Netflix premium at the highest bit rate. I found that the original Japanese cut dolby atmos sound was much more pronounced vs. the English dubbed take. Also, yet another HT-A9 firmware (1.784) was released on June 25th, way to go Sony. ;) Keep them coming Sony, please. Great movie review as usual. I especially enjoy your enthusiasm and commentary, keep it up. ;)

Seriously Hollywood should get their act together. I think the in catering in Hollywood is the same budget as this whole movie. Sounds great though! 😉.

Have already checked the Netflix version and the physical disc sounds better in my opinion but the Atmos on Netflix isn’t that bad and still sounds amazing with this movie.

As I already stated above, you must be a Netflix premium subscriber for the best possible video and audio available, in addition to having a high speed broadband connection. Also, definitely watch the Japanese version for best quality audio. There is a difference, don´t why though?

I watched and i thought it was stupid. Looked like a toy Godzilla at times. Not sure what all the hype is about this movie but the effects just didn't match what everyone is saying. Looked like a 100k budget movie

@@blazinreviews2393 please turn off AAV, we've did extensive testing on the avsforum and it severely degrades audio quality. Turn it off and Higher the volume to 40 ish. You'll hear a whole new awesome system.

Hi, Does HT A9 Box displays TRUEHD when playing TrueHD Atmos? i only shows Dolby Atmos 48KHZ for me, Can u confirm

There is no true hd Atmos ,true hd will only show up if it's mixed in that format or if you have a receiver that doesn't decode Atmos it will show the Atmos as true hd

@@jydbbo all 4k dvd discs nowadays xomes with truehd atmos which is lossless, does ht a9 ever shows truehd on its display? It wont show i hipe it show as hdmi only. If u press display in the tv will it ever shows anything else other than dolby atmos, i mean True hd or anything else, have u had a chance to play a disc using 4k/bliray player with the disc?? All the disc comes with true hd atmos only.and other formats like dts hd master.
