This Godzilla is going back to the original. Post WW2 Japan. Where they are at 0 and then Godzilla shows up setting them past 0 to -1. I think it's there way of restarting the Godzilla also setting him back to 0.

Awesome reaction, with a cute opening 😊 Very much looking forward to this movie being a re-boot, taking place immediately after the US dropped the bombs on Japan. And he’s super pissed!!!

I read after doing the reaction that it was placed super close to after the war, so I assumed that, plus, the title meant it was the beginning of a new series.

なんかさ、笑いを隠せない表情で喋られると、うちらバカにされてんのかなって思ってしまう、英語の聴き取りが苦手な日本人としては。この映画のCGがマジで十億円くらいしかかかっていないから、やっぱり日本と日本人は貧乏くさいと笑われるのかな。
