Minus gets durability, he survived a nuclear weapon and sure Kong is larger, stronger and faster, there's a bit more to the fight than that, firstly, minus 1 has fast regeneration that can heal wounds and critical damage to the head in seconds, secondly, -1 has insane amounts of fire power, not half as much as legendary but the damage is far more wide spread, if Kong beating it into mush doesn't kill it or it fires his breath before Kong gets in range then Kong might lose.

Even then Minus 1 took charge up while MVG charged up in around maybe a few seconds plus Kong found was to counter MVG. Slam his jaws shut, Force his head away, shove his axe down his throat And Kong is faster like FASTER, double his height and Kong can leap, jump, and sprint.
