I've recently gotten this game from 2021 Christmas and I have to say it's the greatest Godzilla game out there besides Godzilla unleashed. Alot of people hate it for graphics but then there's mortal Kombat 10 with bad graphics but great gameplay and also how the review guys are from near recent years like 2019 or something which makes it worse kaijus being slow is sometimes a problem but here's a question I've had for awhile would you rather: complain about the graphics and kaijus being slow: or :playing as good modeled movie accurate Godzilla kaiju destroying the city and fighting off the tiny humans named the "military" and protecting the city as mothra or something running around dodging and destroying things on your way to the final leve. Edit:looking back on this comment it's not to hard to realize I had very bad choices of words (I still do), this game has A LOT of flaws but that doesn't make it the worst game of all time. P.S.Focusing on the G-Force lady's voice or the generators only is your problem tbh,I try to have fun(I tend to succeed in doing so)knowing I'm playing as cool underrated kaiju destroying buildings and fighting other monsters,but..this game feels VERY unfinished and it probably is..if only bandai (and of course everyone else)had more time to dev the game it could possibly be atleast a 9/10.

The slow pace of the game was definitely a turn off for many people, the marketing made the PS4 version sound like some AAA Godzilla game, but it's nowhere near that ambitious. It's a game small in scope that's chockfull of fanservice meant to be enjoyed at a leisure pace. Ironically, the slow pace also works against it even for casual fans (I know I always find myself trying to run or move as fast as possible with any of the monsters that have the ability to).

There's no health meter in the single player campaigns, the only indicator you have for low health is when the screen becomes more and more red. You do regenerate after a little while, though.

Hey I got a question. Since conquering all the stages in the game have you ever seen Mothra larva's intro again? So far from when I first played and all the videos I've seen on KZbin her intro only appears when you first playing and you don't know what monster you face.

The intros seem really random. Like, Destoroyah's intro is really difficult for me to see, but ones like the Mechagodzillas (and I think Super Mechagodzilla and Kiryu) I'll see all the time.

SuperGodzillaGaming Actually you can catch Destoroyah's intro in Area 9 if he's the opponent. It's the same for all the other monsters. There intros happen in very specific stages. Not really random at all. Like Larva Battra's intro you can only find in the first stage if you play the other monsters instead of Heisei Godzilla. I can't find Mothra Larva's intro anymore though. And I think you only encounter it in 3 stages.

Extremely slow paced, clunky controls, and a seriously imbalanced roster of monsters are the biggest gripes. Marketing made it look like a more expansive and higher-budget title than it was, but it was the exact opposite. It's a simple love letter to the franchise that just wasn't up to par with the expectations of the general public.

Path-wise, I couldn't really tell you since it's been a while since my last run. But I remember him showing up a couple of times in the Default difficulty stages. If you're patient, you can actually encounter him as Heisei Godzilla over and over on the very first stage of the game - just wrack up 50% or more Destruction Rate in a short amount of time (two~three minutes or so?), then destroy the generator, and JJ will show up. You'll know you did it correct when you destroy the generator but don't start advancing to the next level.

You have to conserve your rage meter or whatever it’s called to get the multiplier for maximum growth so you have to keep destroying stuff as fast as possible to keep and get that 10x multiplier also do the extra condition for more g energy
