Godzilla VS Cthulhu (Fan-made DEATH BATTLE! Trailer)

Imagine it,cthulu looms over the universe dooming all of humanity,Godzilla is on the floor on the verge of death when a little girl screams "gojira!" His eye opens as cthulu crushes the universe and Godzilla releases the rawest laser blast ever and it zooms in cthulu as for the first time...he feels fear.

Here's a few concepts for this fight. *Wiz and Boomstick ques* Wiz: "The deep sea is an unexplored place, holding many mysteries yet to be uncovered." Boomstick: "But even man's own games can awaken monsters." Wiz: "Like Godzilla, King of the Monsters." Boomstick: "And Cthulhu, The Great Dreamer. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!" Wiz: "And it's our job to analyze their weapons, skills and armor to find out who would win... a DEATH BATTLE!" Fight Setup, Climax and Winner (+Alternate Ending) Also possible track name: Call of the Kaiju (could be a collab between Brandon and Therewolf) Setup: Cthulhu is awakened once more by a group of Cultists. Cultist Leader: "Great Cthulhu of R'lyeh, O save us from this cruel world!" Cthulhu wraps some tentacles around the Cultists, then crushing them. Just when Cthulhu was about to fully emerge from the water, he hears a roar from behind him. He turns around, only to find Godzilla there, challenging him to a fight. Cthulhu accepts this challenge, thinking it'll just be another easy kill for him. How wrong he was. Climax: Godzilla looks up at a planet-sized Cthulhu, still not ready to back down. Cthulhu: "IT IS TOO LATE, MORTAL. THIS WORLD IS DOOMED." Godzilla then gets an angelic power-up, then firing his atomic breath with all the strength he could. This completely obliterates Cthulhu's avatar, at well as the part of the Earth. Suddenly, Godzilla gets teleported away, to Cthulhu's true form. Godzilla looks up in horror at the incomprehensible monstrosity he is seeing, finally succumbing to Cthulhu's maddening aura. This finally gives the Great Dreamer the chance he needs to put down the King of the Monsters for good, by slowly tearing him limb from limb. However, he resets Godzilla, so he can do it again. Then again, then again, for the rest of eternity, Godzilla will be experiencing eternal suffering from Cthulhu, before finally getting erased once Cthulhu gets bored. Alternate Ending Godzilla resists Cthulhu's aura, and fires one last beam with all the might he has left at the Great Dreamer's true form, completely destroying it. Time suddenly starts reversing rapidly, Godzilla being unaffected. It takes him all the way back to the beginning of the universe. All the other Lovecraft Beings are there... except Cthulhu. The King of the Monsters now takes Cthulhu's place, with Cthulhu being no more than a memory in Godzilla's mind.

If you actually fully composite Godzilla by giving him everything from his spinoffs, to his comics and manga to his crossovers with other franchises; he actually can and does beat Cthulhu most of the time.

For me this matchup is in the same lane as Monokuma Vs Koro-Sensei and Bendy Vs Cuphead, where I love both characters, but not the MU. The more cosmic side of Cthulhu's character and toolkit doesn't really mesh well with Godzilla which hurts this matchup in both connections and animation potential. I'd love to see Godzilla return and I'd love to see Cthulhu on the show, and I'm sure they'd make a great episode out of this, but personally, this is a matchup I hope they don't tackle. Great trailer though, rooting both, more leaning towards Godzilla, betting Cthulhu.

Both are one of many in their nature, with other similar cosmic beings existing in the same story as them,of wich they are the most recognizable. (General) Both would lay dormant for countless years beneath the seas,before emerging once more. They embody two of the most recognizable giant monsters across all of fiction. Both hold no explicit goals or meaning beyond their actions,at the very least none that can be understood,besides merely bringing destruction onto all of civilization. Both are opposed by mere, regular humans, both a group of central characters along with the military onto hole, all giving into despair as they struggle to battle against insurmountable odds and to end their path of destruction. Against all odds, humanity would somehow prevail against them, seemingly ending them for good with a man made construct by destroying massive chunks of their body.
