No disrespect to Tom Holkenberg (I quite love the delicate yet epic theme he has written for Kong here) but Bear Mcreary's score for KOTM was a work of genius and I so wish he had also scored GvK. His Godzilla theme with the Japanese chants and percussions was just brilliant.

While Bear's is legendary, I feel Tom's fits the tone and pace of the film a lot more than Bear's would. And it's nice to have something different each time. While Bear's is beautifully mystical I'd listen to Tom's more often as it's much more energetic and head-bangable. It straight slaps. Tom doesn't get enough credit, especially since he had to do this and Justice League (a 4 hr movie) at around the same time.
