@@Theonefrombeyon Nah it’s easy to go that way when you see the underdog have that much heart. That’s the very reason Godzilla let Kong live when he was about to kill him. When Godzilla roared in Kong’s face, Kong had nothing left but just like that lady said “Kong bows for no one” he gathered up enough strength to let out his own roar. If you look at that scene again, you can see Godzilla giving Kong a head nod before walking away. Kong is nothing more than a giant monkey compared to what Godzilla is. He should’ve been easy work and he wasn’t. That’s what Godzilla respected and that’s what a lot of people like.

I loved how they referenced the original movie when Kong stuffed the handle of the axe in Godzilla’s mouth. Kong used a tree in the original.

I wish that Tony would’ve commented on when the little girl told Kong that Godzilla wasn’t the enemy & Mechagodzilla was. Kong was initially like “Nah...he straight!! 😆🤣😂

I felt like the whole plot with Paperboi, FireFist and stranger things girl could’ve been left out. Also as a mother, I’m appalled at the indication of how horrible adoption agencies have to be in this world. Because they took that very small child in horribly dangerous situations. They didn’t know if that aircraft would work. Kong and that little indigenous girl was being used by those scientists and I don’t appreciate it. Kong had a whole lost prince hero quest with a throne. They went through all the trouble of saying they were evacuating the city and people are still having rooftop dinners. Y’all heard this damn giant lizard stomping through town! I needed subtitles for the obvious Batman v Superman disposition happening between Kong and Godzilla.

I am team kong since I was a kid but Godzilla was a beast! Great movie I gave it an A- I'll be watching it again. This is the best monster film I have seen in a long time.

Tony, this was the re-match. When I was very little, Godzilla was my worst nightmare. I always thought that I could hear him stomping on houses, but specifically searching for me. {many years later, I realized that it was my ear pressed on my pillow, making my pulse sound loud. The more afraid I became, the louder and faster it became. When the original K.K. vs Godzilla came out, I was thrilled! King Kong defeated Godzilla and swam back to his island. Tony Baker, I enjoyed your review.
