Yeah, in Kong Skull Island they have mention that Kong is not fully grow yet, but we try compare it with the Godzilla in King Of monster, we still find it a bit smaller, theory around said that this Godzilla is actually Mecha Godzilla, in anyways this trailer are awesome ! thanks for the comment !!

@@shinck88 WB already said they would be thinning out GodZillas neck and they said Kong will be a lot bigger vs godzilla and if the boat was made to be more than big enough for Kong I'm sure godzilla would fit for a bit until the boat broke but from what I've heard from last year is Kong would be bigger to match Godzilla.

best way to describe godzilla's scaling is that his size does change depend on amount of radiation he absorbs and where he decided to store energy. if he decided to store in his body it effects his size he can also store energy in his fins then it effects the power of breath.

The director of the Godzilla 2014 film Garreth Edwards admitted recently that Godzilla's size scaling in the movie was inconsistent. The CG model was made too big in several parts of the movie and smaller in other parts of the movie, he was made bigger when he was next to humans and the camera shots were always set too close and when he fought the MUTO's his CG scaling was smaller even when the camera angles were further away. This was fixed during Godzilla King of the Monsters where the CG model of Godzilla were all proportionally even through out the film.

^ THIS Watched several of the Kaiju podcasts and they all said the same thing. The first Legendary Godzilla movie messed up the size of Godzilla because it was new CG technology they were working with at that time.

People keep saying that Godzilla was "too small" based on his perceived height during the fight on the aircraft carrier, but people don't know just how big aircraft carriers are....They're as big as skyscrapers, with the largest of them being nearly as long as the Empire State Building.

In Kong: Skull Island, they said Kong was pretty young so that’s why he was much smaller back then. I can accept that they addressed the size difference, so now that he’s fully grown, he’a capable of taking on Godzilla. However, it could be like you guys said, Godzilla could’ve gotten smaller after the end of the last movie when he was filled with radiation. He could’ve shrunk from consuming all that power and made him weaker.

That's possible, that kong grew up, I did went back and compare the previous, he did look a wee bit smaller. We will find out more after the movie is out. Thanks for the comment.

In the movie “Kong of skull island” Kong was a teenager. The time period of the movie was set in the 70’s. Kong seems bigger because he grew up. The “Godzilla vs Kong” time period is set in present day so that’s about 50 years for Kong to grow. It’s not that Godzilla is smaller, but that Kong is a lot bigger. But I understand why you think Godzilla could be smaller. 😊 I also love your reaction! I subscribed.

They said that Godzilla was smaller based on comparisons it to the buildings and ships though, not because he was the same size as Kong. So while Kong is a lot bigger than he used to be, Godzilla is also a lot smaller than he was in KOTM. I'm guessing that isn't even Godzilla but Mechagodzilla who is set to be the main villain of the film (practically confirmed).

Kong has gotten bigger because he was much younger in "Kong:Skull Island". He has grown since that film he was very young.This is what I believe will be explained in "Godzilla vs.Kong".

Godzilla is still around 394ft tall. And kong grew as well. They are on a super carrier, tho ships are massive too

That aircraft carrier from the middle of the trailer is over 1,000 feet long. Godzilla is 393 feet tall, so the size is actually correct. It’s simply that some of the scenes from the other movies got the scale of the monsters incorrect. Godzilla 2014 has the most errors with Godzilla’s size as it changes a lot in different scenes.

A war between their kind....we know from Kong's parents that there were other members of Kong's species and Dagon from the comic and briefly from the 2014 movie shows there were other's of Godzilla's species. Maybe another of godzilla's kind woke up and became active. Would be a neat twist.

Thanks for the comment, yea, we know that, we just thought the carrier and building is larger than Godzilla comparing to the king of monster. The offspring theory was from Netflix Godzilla Anime. Hopefully the movie is gonna be awesome, cant wait for it.

The 1960’s era Godzilla vs Kong had two versions, one cut with Kong winning in the end was play in the States and another with Godzilla winning was played in Japan. The new movie there doesn’t seem to that huge of a difference you can see in each region’s trailers, for example in Japan trailer Godzilla bitch-slaps Kong in a humiliating way but that does not appear in the US trailer at all

No, that's a myth...Kong won in BOTH Japanese and U.S. versions. The only difference is Kong & Godzilla's roars are heard in the Japanese cut. @@Galactusz007 too carry them i don´t think so, an aircraft carrier can´t carry godzilla he is more then 99.000 tons in weight. i don´t know hoe much he weights after king of the monsters but in godzilla 2014 his weight was 99.000 tons. he grew a lot in king of the monsters and his weight must be increase too.

@@Galactusz007 maybee monarch or the us build an aircraft carrier bigger then all we got in reality. Like the Monster plane in king of the monsters. So it is possible for both of them standing on it. It is just this thing that makes me wonder how can it withstand there weight, makes no sense they weight both so much the ship must be sinking right away. One Titan on it ok but kong and Godzilla is a little much i think. In reality there is no way in build such an large aircraft carrier. Only one aircraft carrier the us navy has costs around a Billion too build. This massive thing must cost hundreds of billions to build, and then it is too Big for that it can drive in any not deep enough water. But maybee they build it because they need bigger weapons and ships too face the titans after all it makes sense in a way, that humans want too build massive weapons no matter the cost of it, just too face of these treats too humanity. Hmm even the humans in reality would do that if they have no other choise.

Some of the Carrier may have over 300meters long, so it is not as small as you think, scaling is actually good. And he wasn't bigger than buildings In Godzilla 2014 too - remember when he hit MUTO małe by his tail? The building literally fall on the godzilla crushing him by the floor... Godzilla is still over 100 meters hight

godzilla is much longer then he is in high. he maybee only 120 meters in high but over 300 meter in length. kong is no 120 meters in high he is only 105 or 108 meters in high so godzilla is still bigger than him. look at godzillas legs then you see he stands not fully straight up.

Godzilla did not shrink! Kong grew up since Skull Island( took place in early 70's). Air Craft carriers are quite large 335 meters! Godzilla is about 110 meters tall.

@@shinck88 oh they'll definitely pull that card like every good guy vs movie. It's not like Jason vs Freddy or Alien vs Predator. Godzilla and Kong are both heroes in this setting, so they'll fight but then some bigger threat will appear and they will fight that, likely Mecha Godzilla, maybe Ghidorah returns. There is a theory Ghidorah genes may be inside Mecha Godzilla like how Godzilla's skeleton was inside the third Mecha Godzilla, and may grow out of the mech into a new Mecha King Ghidorah.
