Suko notes to himself that food being offered to him is completely forien to him. Kong also notes that Suko hasn't eaten anything for while and that food being offered is bad thing.

I’m really liking the primitive man vibe they’re giving Kong with his axe. But, at the same time, I hate how human-like they’re making Kong. The reason why I hate this is because it makes Kong seem weaker than he should be. By making him human-like, they make him seem less monstrous and animal-like than other Titans like Godzilla and therefore seems less powerful. He should have the proportional strength of a gorilla, not a Human or Neanderthal. And gorillas are a LOT stronger than most people think. Anyone else feel this way?

If anything I thought Kong was just as human as he was in the last film. The last film he spoke a human language twice while in this movie he only did it once. We’re also looking through the monsters pov which gave the opportunity to portray them as characters with personality. If anything I think this helped the movie properly portray Kong’s strength, and not just in a physical way but internally as well. It helped me draw out the main difference between Kong and Godzilla’s character. While intelligent for an animal and certainly having his moments, Godzilla’s still the more animalistic of the two and mostly goes by his instincts leading to unfair and poorly planned actions like Tiamat’s death. If Kong was anything similar he would’ve probably killed Suko after their first fight.

Just Because Kong is acting more like a human than a animal doesnt mean hes weak he ofc is adapting to the world becoming more intelligent and skilled in using tools and traps to hunt his prey which is normal since animals in the real world uses tools such as stones to break open there prey's hard shell or skin In GxK Kong is getting old as his fur is becoming more pale and white as indicating hes getting old but that doesnt mean he's weak he is still very strong as hes capable of knocking out godzilla off his feet into the ground using the beast glove which is an impressive feat for kong to do mostly since Godzilla is now 20x more powerful than any of his forms (except Thermo)
