Known Errors
1. Swordfish is spelled incorrectly in German.
2. The U-5 Class sub doesn't have an (A) designation in any of its search zones, so we shouldn't roll for a special agent delivery mission at the start.

I like everything about this game. The content is perfect, but so is the game board, even the counters are excellent. Very happy to see your play through. I love how tension builds as each patrol continues. I think this game really needs to be on my wish list! Thanks, great video, as usual!

HMS Pathfinder was a scout cruiser and the first ship ever to be sunk by a self propelled torpedo. She was sunk on the 5th September 1914 by the U21

@@ZillaBlitz This is very true! It was suffering from a gaping hole that somehow appeared in its hull. They just don't construct warships to last anymore I tell ya! One hit by a torpedo and its all she wrote!

Sir, A british destroyer leader was sunk today. The ship was struck by a torpedo attack the day before. The captain made a decision to send the flotilla away with the smaller freighter with plans to draw the sub out and sink her. The heinies were just too good for him and put two more torpedoes on her other side and sent her to the bottom. No survivors, 2900 tons sunk.

Hey ZIlla thanks for these videos they're great. Question if possible, This is the only Submarine war game i can find locally however it is double the price of the hunters and silent and is also .5 difficulty higher. Do you think it's worth the price increase and difficulty increases the enjoyment?

That's a good question. I haven't played this one enough to compare it fully with The Hunters or Silent Victory, but from what I see now they are all pretty comparable in quality, with the exception of The Hunted (which is pretty fun but brutal). Unless you are a fan of a particular theater or war, I'd be inclined to go with whatever is cheapest if money is a factor in the decision.

Enjoyed the episode. Does this game have a Log Book like The Hunted, etc to keep track of the the sub's career? I vote for Sword Fish as the sub's name. The others seem a little too 'evil' to me. Keep it up.

Yep, there is a full log book like The Hunters, etc. I prefer to put the information in text on the video, but I use the log book. :)
