Bro, paint is a seasonal sector. Always compare year on year. Monsoon season with monsoon season, not summer season. Compare the margin of September 2024 with September 2022 and September 2021. There was less monsoon in September 2023, so it had high demand that year.

I have seen these type of videos while Tvs is trading at 250. Debt to equity hogher tha 0.50. and all influencers saying its not good and you should avoid Tvs motors. I sold my 50 percent holdings. At that LIC bought hige amount of Tvs motor shares. Now you can see chart and Fundamentals of Tvs motors. Sonetimes fundamentals you are seeing in websites are intentionally made to sell tge holdings. Now Lic is buying Asian paints. They have access to all the management staffs of Asian Paints. Thats their capabilities. But the problem of the influencer is that they can maximum go through Dealers. Dealers dont talk tge truth. Because they avoid Income Taxes. I have talked to many dealers, They alwys say Dhanda manda hai. Where as their business is doing very well. And remember one thing. Incase you choose 10 perfect companies. 6 out of them wil close after 15 months. 4 will survive. Those companies will make you money.

Harsh for you info - Why is company focussing on renewable energies used. They purposely are showing of 65% renewable energy usage as EU countries planning to add Carbon tax soon. ( There is some opposition in this tax from india side, but it will be forced on companies sooner). As Asian paints is always ahead of its time, they have put efforts on ESG.

Please note that in sep-24, public holding has reduced while dii & fii are buying. Nos of shareholders also reduced. So it's a panic sell. Paint consumption litre per person can be 4 times from current. So there's much room for organic growth. Elevated interest rates, high taxes, inflation have reduced the consumption capacity of the public. As, such, I think people are going for new brands. Once, the public starts having the discretion, the will opt for asian paints again. Dealers are more or less attracted by the new companies for their margins. It's not sustainable. Company also booked one time loss this quarter of 180 Cr.
