I'm still waiting on that documentary about the conditions of daily life in the Weimar Republic and just what would make people so fed up that they would vote for something so radical. @@Ar1AnX1x I'm sure it's at a 1:1 ratio with all of of the "1940's boogymen" documentaries, right? I see this as the media posting what they fear the most. The flat out refusal to go along with the degeneracy of the past decade, the revival of being proud of Western culture, and finally the delegitimatization of any and all opposition. They have only themselves to blame for this swing of the pendulum. 😐

Sage521: Not difficult at all! First the NSDAP used the oppressive Versailles treaty with harsh economic sanctions that ruined the economy for for 4 - 6 years not to mention the loss of German territories! With that the Reds were clamoring for a take-over! Then the economy improved until the disastrous Stock Market crash of 1929 that destroyed the economy again throughout the world with unemployment at over 30% in Germany. The NSDAP and the Reds again were at it with constant street violence against each other! The economy was pivotal and the real threat of a Communist takeover is what finally brought the NSDAP a fringe party to power 2 years later in 1933! The inaction of the democracy under the Weimar government caused this obviously as well!

Watch the documentaries made by the British documentarians, they are more accurate. The Nazis are just as evil but their research is more in-depth and thorough. Here Goering is shown with the SS symbol. That was Himmler. Goering didn't start, oversee nor was in the SS. Also he was driven by ambition, power and the opportunity to make a fortune over antisemitism. Himmler was the true believer of Aryan as a superior race and the need for Lebensraum. Goering was nonetheless ruthless and oppression as the 2nd in command and was well aware of the atrocities. The details and conclusions are important in history. @@OntarioBearHunter

Mark Felton should have been at that table, the head of the table that is. One thing I dislike about this is the blatant leftism, liberalism and political anti conservatism of this guy with his egregious terms like far right and the blatant fear mongering and demonizing of but remaining indifferent to the far left, the Marxist and their past historical crimes and present agenda. You never see Mark Felton do this, he always gives you the true raw history without dragging in his own political bias or agenda and allows his audience to draw their own proper conclusions which all true history should be. This video is very disingenuous and smacks of mainstream, anti conservative liberal control and a political agenda and that simply ruins the entire subject matter in itself.

The treaty of Versailles was a deal between British and the French to Impose a set of crippling conditions On Getmany, which includes the French seizure of the Ruhr valley and The crippling reparations of 30 to 50 %, The American government tried to Get the allies to go along with the 19 Point plan, which would've probably Forstalled the even greater world war 2, 25 yrs later, but they wouldn't go along. And part of that was that Wilson, had had a stroke and was unable to travel to the Versailles conference and thus the two leaders of Britain and France, George, and, Clemencou, Respectively, were able to Push their punitive conditions to be imposed. And thus the seeds were sown for an even greater conflict.
