Enjoy your channel and have some questions/observations: 1. 1:44 - "The Fathom is carved from alloy." It's investment-cast rather than CNC cut aluminum; not horrible but this is no Avet. 2. 1:38 - "[Graphite frames] don't last either." I'd like to hear more about your perspective/experiences, but I've had my Seagates and Squalls for many years without any problems.

I have 3 Penn Casting Specials, I think they are a lovely reel. IMO they beat the Akios Nitron all day long

A broom handle. Theyre crap reels

One of the best reels for clean beach fishing, is a Fathom 12SD loaded up with 0.32 15lb line. Abu/akios reels are crap. Theyre casting reels not fishing reels.
