For melee combat in the air, I would like to see some option to be able to smack the enemy straight down. So it can enable a follow up volley attack. That could make for some additional passive skills to offer certain melee combos a different ender.

The direction someone is thrown back is based on the direction you started the melee from. If you melee from above, it hits the enemy down, and vice versa. The exception is Vanish Attacking, which always hits them towards the direction you came from, i.e. Vanish Attacking from above hits them upwards.

Personally, Im a huge fan of the ranked and new matchmaking system they have in play. Nowadays, I can reliably run silly sets since I know I'm playing with people that aren't unaware of how they're forming a conga line to feed the raider, meaning I can get away with some sillier strats (full vehicle build, triple stun, untouchable, etc) In original MM, I felt compelled to run meta more often purely because I knew there was going to be at least three new players who don't know better on the team, meaning I would have to pick up insane slack

Seems like the super is best used when raider is on STM. Buts 1v1 it seems risky.

​@@kerrowe2 should be enough. Cell is very tanky and two souls takes a bar and a half. So yeah you will DESTROY raiders 1v1 if you have instant rise, power beyond power and u. Control or a similar build.
