I really liked the bit where he was telling the rest of the family how you whistle as they were discussing this and the dogs shot into the room when he did this and were all over him. I'm an Aussie who absolutely LOVES the UK version more than our Aussie version. I loved our Aussie version in the beginning. But as the years have rolled on, it's just mostly still the same people, watching the same crap, saying the same things over and over and over. All while the voiceover is given far too much to say. It's supposed to be about the Goggleboxers and what they think. NOT the voiceover yapping on and on, and trying to set up the jokes where a Goggleboxer is added on to the end of the joke with a single randomly plucked word from them to finish the scripted jokes and set ups. That style of show may as well be just another piece of scripted comedy crap. I'd much rather hear 95-99% from the Goggleboxers THEMSELVES, their jokes, their thoughts on whatever they're watching, etc. That was meant to be the point of Gogglebox in the first place. And why I love the UK version so much.

I have just found some stuff out and If you don't know it it is shocking and wonderful. First off Giles is an amazing and very talented artist, I love his work but Mary was the real surprise, she is in the Punk film "Dead on Arrival", she was really involved in the punk scene I nearly fell off my chair when she came on the documentary about the film, Dead on arrival: The punk documentary that nearly never was.
