I know let thieves get along with thieves to say let Koreans be British citizens so Japan could have Argentina as it’s closest ally. Yeah, Japan is too tough and as a Colombian American I am very aware of what Japan will do the reason why JSDF might plan to have a joint military branch with the United States in Costa Rica in a way to lead Colombia over favoring South Korea and that the people of San Andres Island begin to do this dance; as a counter protest on another claim that Colombia has with Nicaragua. I believe that the British is better off be involved with the Korea unification only to see Argentina as Japan’s closest ally so Japan could fully favor Argentina over the ownership of the Falklands.

During the Japanese-Russian war, Japan forced the island into its territory, and reported this to Korea after Japan invaded Korea. (1905) 5. Here are the main events about Dokdo. In 512, General Yi Sa-bu of the Silla Dynasty conquered Usanguk (Dokdo)(Samguksagi, History of the Three Kingdoms, 1145) In 1693, Japan fishermen kept crossing the border illegally. To stop this, An Yong-bok complained to Japan and received Tottorihan’s reply to an inquiry of the Edo Shogunate (Dec. 25, 1695), which says "Neither Takeshima (Ulleungdo) nor Matsushima (Dokdo) belongs to the Tottorihan." In 1877, through the Dajokan Order, Japan’'s Meiji government officially confirmed that “"Japan has nothing to do with Ulleungdo and one other island [Dokdo]”". After liberation, Korea was able to get lands back from Japan by Cairo Declaration and Potsdam Declaration.

Okay. Seems like there are severely confused people here, so I'll clear it up. I promise that I won't be biased, and I'll only state the facts. 1. In BC 512, when Korea was going through the Silla dynasty, the Silla kingdom merged the island as a part of its kingdom. Since then on, the island has been Korean. 2. In the 15th century, there were many cases of Japanese trying to attack the island, and the Jo-seon dynasty's government made the residents of Dok-do come back inland for their safety

5 The fact that Japan has long recognized the existence of Takeshima can be confirmed through various documents and maps Takeshima is Japanese territory in the sea of Japan 🇯🇵 The group of islands currently called Takeshima were once known as “Matsushima,” and the island now called Utsuryo Island used to be known as “Takeshima” or “Isotakeshima.” (Fig. 1) Although the names of Takeshima and Utsuryo Island were temporarily con- fused due to errors in the charting of Utsuryo Island by European explorers and others, it can be confirmed from a variety of maps and documents that Japan has long recognized the existence of “Takeshima” and “Matsushima.”. For example, on many maps, in- cluding the Kaisei Nippon Yochi Rotei Zenzu (Revised Complete Map of Japanese Lands and Roads - first published in 1779 by Nagakubo Sekisui), which is the most prominent published cartographic projection of Japan, the locations of Utsuryo Island and Takeshima are accurately recorded at their current positions be- tween the Korean Peninsula and the Oki Islands. Confusion arose temporarily regarding the name of Utsuryo Island due to errors by European explorers who charted the island In 1787, the French explorer, Jean-Francois de Galaup, Comte de La Perouse, reached Utsuryo Island and named the island “Dagelet.” After that, the British ex- plorer, James Colnett, also reached Utsuryo Island in 1789 and named it “Argonaut.” However, as there was some inaccuracy in the latitudinal and longitudinal charting, Utsuryo Island ended up being depicted as consisting of two separate islands on the maps subse- quently produced in Europe. (Fig. 2) A doctor named Philipp Franz von Siebold, who had been based on the island of Dejima in Nagasaki, created a “Map of Japan” (1840) in Europe. He had learned from various Japanese documents and maps that two groups of islands which were, from the west, “Takeshima” (the current Utsuryo Island) and “Matsushima” (the current Takeshima), were located between the Oki Islands and the Korean Peninsula. At the same time, he also knew that there were two groups of islands named, from the west, “Argonaut” and “Dagelet” on European maps. Consequently, Siebold listed “Argonaut” as “Takashima” and “Dagelet” as “Matsushima” on his map. (Fig. 2) This caused further confusion by giving a different name, “Matsushima,” to Utsuryo Island, which had consistently been called “Takeshima” or “Isotakeshima.” until then. Point 1 Japan has long recognized the existence of “Takeshima” Revised Complete Map of Japanese Lands and Roads (1846) (Meiji University Library) Map of Takeshima (circa 1724) (Tottori Prefectural Museum)

The island that the South Korean military is invading is not Dokdo but Matsushima, Japan. This is because Koreans could no longer read Chinese characters and mistook 竹嶼 for 竹島。 Before Koreans study history, they should be able to read kanji and then talk about history.

I always wondered why the Japanese say that Dokdo is Japanese territory, but they have never showed the evidence proving that Dokdo( what they call "Takeshima") is actually a territory of Japan. What they are doing is whining like a child, asking for a candy (at this case, it would be Dokdo). Prove it to us that Dokdo is actually a part of Japan.

5 The fact that Japan has long recognized the existence of Takeshima can be confirmed through various documents and maps The group of islands currently called Takeshima were once known as “Matsushima,” and the island now called Utsuryo Island used to be known as “Takeshima” or “Isotakeshima.” (Fig. Point 1 Japan has long recognized the existence of “Takeshima” Revised Complete Map of Japanese Lands and Roads (1846) (Meiji University Library) Map of Takeshima (circa 1724) (Tottori Prefectural Museum) Takeshima is 100% Japanese territory 🇯🇵

dokdo is korean territory at the first place dokdo is visible with naked eye from korea. even Japanese old map shows that dokdo does not belong to japan, and okdo island is where Japane property ends. The reason korea is not going to the court is because the court can not be fair, because of the relationship between USA, and Japan

Put all this together in one puzzle I went rooting for Team Takeshima! This is where they could get Colombia to believe that the Island Rocks located in the Sea of Japan belongs to Korea! A Miss Universe who represents Japan that looks like porn star Briana Lee will answer the question of her parent who is from Nicaragua and her other parent who is from Japan about comparing Takeshima with San Andres, a territory that Nicaragua claims to Colombia. If that Miss Japan wins Miss Universe who looks like Briana Lee, would might be media attention of both Korea and Colombia or say in a way Dokdo is Korea Land flashmobs appearing in Colombia. Yes I am aware of that and for that reason things could change with some oddballs!

Hello from Colombia. I am just waiting for a half black Miss Korea to win Miss Universe in 2024 as she says to the Japanese audience that she is born in Nicaragua, but she is actually born in San Andres Island that belongs to Colombia and her answer will be that what Dokdo is to Korea is what San Andres is to Colombia. Then if Miss Korea becomes the 2024 Miss Universe winner she will make a video about Dokdo is Korea land that she starts to say to the Japanese audience that she is born in Nicaragua but actually she is born in San Andres Colombia and yet the video begins with Miss Universe 2007 winner with an X and Miss Universe 2023 winner with an X that both Miss Japan and Miss Nicaragua is a comparison to San Andres and Dokdo of the pagent winners who come from countries that claim each territory Miss Japan 2007 for Takeshima/Dokdo and Miss Nicaragua 2023 for San Andres both with the X on their faces yet comes along a Miss Colombia contestant who dances along the Dokdo is Korea land video as to show about what it is about Dokdo is Korea land flashmob done in San Andres Colombia.
It’s more than 8 years ago, these dancing girls are old now.

This is like the Falklands, on one side United Kingdom claims it and calls it " Falklands " while nearby Argentina also claims it and calls it " Islas Malvinas " and a war resulted between the two nations and Argentina was defeated and Falklands became a part of the British Empire but still Argentina claims it but in 2015 referendum shows that over 1,053 Falklanders voted to stay in favor for the British rule while 3 Falklanders voted to be in favor of Argentine rule now there will be Takeshima VS Dokbo ( 🇯🇵 VS 🇰🇷 )

Samguk Sagi, a historical record of Korea edited in 1145, says that Usanguk surrendered to Silla, one of the Three Kingdoms of Korea, in 512. Usando and located in an area of about 40km(25 miles) square. Dokdo is 92 km away from Ullengdo, Taejong Sllaok (太宗実録), edited in 1417, is the first historical record to describe an island named Usando that is said to be Dokdo., But it says there were 15 families living on the island. The Usando described in Taejoong Sillok isn't Dokdo, either.

So therefore, the Japanese' claim that Japan merged an empty island into its territory is wrong, because although it was empty (as in no residents), it was still a part of the Korean land. Many ancient Japanese maps mark this island as a part of the Korean territory, and only after the Japanese invasion of Korea was this island marked as Japanese in many maps. I gladly accept any refutations :)

Japan officially incorporated the islets in 1905 strictly following the procedures prescribed in the International law. After the WW2, the Allies determined that Takeshima should remain as Japanese territory in the San Francisco Peace Treaty in 1951. Though the South Korean government had been informed of the determination by the U.S. government in those diplomatic documents like "Rusk documents", they ignored this international determination and started occupying the islets illegally from 1952.
