It was a great opportunity to have those pair meet at R32, the tickets were not expensive and I had free access to the front row to film as close as I wanted. I knew filming this full match was going to please many fans. Keep in mind folks those highlights are fine but they don't show the physical and psychological drain that lead to a change in tactics during a match. Excuse the camera settings here as I just received my gear and did not tested settings before (its better to leave white-balance and auto focus OFF and prefer an higher shutter speed).

GVS/TWK gameplay was a bit old school style like CY/FHF, LYD/JJS, and Hendra/Kido.. we all know back in the days the Smasher will always stay behind for attack and they not so good at net play... now a days mens double must be able to do both like Minion and this KamSon pair.. This is why GVS/TWK cant stay longer at the top challenging this new mens double era..

Although malaysia(ranking about 20) loss but they give japan(top 5 seed) a huge pressure and japan need to spend so much energy to beat malaysia. If this pair malaysia team they show his best performe like at 2016 , the chance for japan team to win will be very small...

GVS relies very much on angle and fast shuttle speed to get weak replies from opponent, lack deception at the back court however. No slicing or whatnot, the Japanese pair adapted to his attacks and is more deadly with the consistent offense. Strategy and mentality is right for the Japanese, well deserved.

can someone explain, why some players have really really harder smashers than other players
@firdhausmakhtar88824 жыл бұрын
Technique and contact point and muscle power
@firdhausmakhtar88824 жыл бұрын
Technique- different player have different smash style, which include body movement and how they applied force . Contact point- this is main factor in smashing, as you can see, different contact point generate different amount of power when we smash. Appropriate contact point will give you greater smash . Muscle power- what I means by this, is that how they generate muscle power so that they not wasted when they move their body in one direction. You can see what I means by this when u look up GOH v shem analysis smash on KZbin. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZyYfZiYqa1ngKM He produce power video mainly because his body able to movement at greater angle than any pro player

But his hard work won them this match. Whereas Goh looks too relaxed, solely relies on his skills and power, and that costs him and Tan dearly.
@auaugaming68934 жыл бұрын
runeer i know, its more because of the problem of the oppose pair themself rather than the efficiency of his hard-working, u can see in other matches with other top pairs that Sonoda usually has to struggle a lot against them cuz hes too stiff

Goh v Shem is not even putting in effort in this game, it’s stick smashes/lift and very basic defence. No initiative to drive or scatter the opponent. I realise he holds his racket on the lower side for attacking and defence, no grip variation. Too lax and lack motivation. Tan WK on the other hand is trying to score points just to save his team some dignity. Maybe they’ve been remunerated well and became complacent.
