Now that's Beast Gohan. Or, should I say, raw Saiyan in him. Bloodlusty, merciless, almost indestructible. SSJ2 should be Gohan's exclusive transformation. All other Z-fighters look like a demo version of SSJ2 Gohan. Goku is strong, but lacks a decisive blow. Vegeta boasts about his strength, but all of the sudden, each time, gets beaten up. Gohan is the real deal. Too bad he didn't get position he deserved in the manga and/or anime.

Ss2 has always been my favorite form. I'll admit that it's not as visually interesting or distinguishable as say, 3 and 4 but what it represented at its initial debut is huge since all of the saiyans were actively trying to achieve it but no one could figure out the right way to do it. Back during a time where they had to tinker around with the transformations and if they got it wrong then it would have drawbacks. The sparks were always cool to me too. I loved how Budokai 2 put them in for ss2 and up but the way they did them in 3 always aggravated me since it wasn't how it was supposed to look. I will say that the auras in 3 were substantially better than in 2 sparks aside.
