this was back in 1998, I am pretty sure June 16... I remember just a couple of hours before this concert, Jean Ter-Merkerian played Sibelius concerto with Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra dedicated to the memory of Lazar Sarian, who passed away two week before that. People walked out from Philharmonic Concert hall and went straight to Opera House to listen Gohar "The Greatest". I was sitting up front, right in front of Gohar, and found myself in tears when she finished singing this anchor,,,

@zarmanazan - You've completely lost the forest for the trees if that's all you have to say after listening to this beautiful performance. Yes, there are technical errors, but those are for Freshman music majors to discuss. After adolescence, a better goal is to find and recognize beauty where it can be found. Hers is a rare emotive gift, faults and all.
