Coming from a girl trying to up her fashion game, here are some things I found that might help. You can add to your outfit by layering on a base. For example, if you have a white tee and some jeans you can add a jacket or a short sleeve collared shirt. Also try to find pieces that can be dressed down and up. For example, a good pair of basic baggy jeans can give off many different vibes and aesthetics based on how you style them. You could go for a more casual dressed down look with a white tee peaking out underneath a hoodie, throw on some cool shoes, and accessorize with a chain and some sunglasses. Or you could go for a more dressed-up look with a fitted black tee to pair with the jeans, a watch and some jewelry (or just wear a white button up). Also something that's unique are ear piercings if you're up for it. Honestly one of the best ways to find your own sense of style is to go on Pinterest and make a board of all the outfits you like. You can try to find what suits your body shape or what kind of vibe you want to exude and go off of that the next time you head to a store. It's good to get a variety of statement pieces and basic essentials. Also hit up a thrift store if you want something more affordable. Some good brands are Alfreic Eden, H&M, and True classic tees. I don't rlly know much about men's clothes but good luck on leveling up your style. Thanks for the video!

@@__redcat___7066 I used to go to a school with uniforms too (elementary). Honestly accessories could help. For example my schools colors were red, white, and blue. So I’m the winter you could layer a white shirt under a red polo with some khaki shorts (for guys). But you couldn’t wear a jacket because that would cover the embroidered emblem. Now I go to a 2-12 school. So we still have a dress code but we don’t have uniforms.

@@Aatlar Just graduated high school, and although it can be very fun, here are some suggestions that I have: 1) Definitely suggest meeting new people. Once you have a friend group that you personally like connecting with, you’ll see that high-school is not at all scary. 2) My biggest regret was not talking to more of my teachers. Tons of students by the end of senior year had at least one teacher that they really connected with, and it’s super heartfelt knowing that at the end of the day, some of those teachers are just really nice people who have the most interesting drama in their lives ;) 3) Stay on track with grades! If you lose yourself the moment you start school by acting needlessly lazy, it can be very hard to get back on track. Although procrastination can sound extremely tempting, consistently acting like that will kick you right back in the butt even when you go to college. It’s not gonna be fun to have a work ethic like that follow you long after high-school, so I suggest just doing the best you can to finish work or study more for tests. Anyways! You absolutely got this! Just believe in yourself 👍👍

Highly recommend working part time 6mo to a year before starting college. I’m starting a certification this fall, and it has been so helpful to work a part time job that has similarities to what I’m going to be doing a couple years. It helped me decide that the certificate is actually something I want to do, and it has given me field experience that my classmates may not have, along with basic work experience.

Last year I did a summer schedule where I did something school related everyday for at least an hour and by the end of summer I remembered a lot from last year and even knew a lot for the upcoming year. And now this summer I did it way more serious and tried to do like a game I got a planner where i wrote down my streak and that has really made me more motivated. And now one month before school I know everything from last year and I know practically everything for my upcoming year I also did two research projects which made me like two subjects I used to hate learning in school. Some things that have definitely helped me with my fashion and my sense of style is educating myself on color theory. There are plenty of sights that go over why different colors match and don’t match, and it has helped me a lot with putting my outfits together. In my opinion, the most important thing about style is wearing something that makes you feel confident, happy, and comfortable in. Wearing an outfit that expresses who you are while also looking appeasing to the eye (going back to color theory) is the most important thing because the moment you walk into a room people are going to see someone who’s confident and has good style.

I was afraid it might be too late to learn anything new this summer, but I opened the copy of Atomic Habits I have that I actually got at a college bookstore from an accepted students' day earlier this year. I thought it was high time to start reading and I would 10/10 recommend that book for levelling up even though I'm not done with it yet. I've been keeping a journal to write about my day and also write about each chapter I read in the book, and it helps me reflect on how I apply each of the lessons from each chapter in my life. I actually won a scholarship on Cyber Security, last school year my Freshman year, and I was watching this video so that I can lock in this year. I am also tutoring this summer. I just want to say that you video was very good.
