Let me just tell you one thing for help: genera,ly we dont tip in india , but sometimes locals can try to fool you , as you are a foreigner, and in some foreign countries there is a tipping culture . But as you only gave like 20 , it was not a big loss to you. And always see the menu as well , cause they have price written there , cause i think 400 for biriyani is a bit much , Cause i live in Kolkata and its not that expensive in local shops here. Visit Kolkata if you can , next time. i would say that you are indeed very brave. I hope you have a safe and happy journey. 😄

Agreed with you... I live in delhi and here too chicken biryani is not that expensive. Until or unless it is not a really good restaurant. But the one in the video was such a local and basic one. I wish that good would have stayed with him cause in front of that person they wouldn't have tried to cheat. Plus the tip, I was really shocked by that. Plus the gesture he made after receiving it. I just personally think that if any foreigner comes to India for the first time, they should have an Indian with them as a guide or friend to know how things work here.

Sorry for Not a good experience in India... But this is because in the first place u selected a cheap shop 'Naveen shop' and a cheap hotel stay.. always book classy hotel... At the hotel reception they would guide u right way to head towards Taj Mahal

If you travel to any train, flight and bus, or book taxi , then buy tickets and book online brother. Some train booking apps -irctc , conformit Some vehicle apps - rapido , ola, uber . Now tip is common every were people asked mostly in hotels and now in some train also in AC coach 😅
