Going After My Wife's Stolen iPhone

My wife's iPhone was stolen and we were able to recovery it with the help of Apple's Find My Phone App and the San Antonio Police Department.

Just curious, how was it stolen? My wife had her purse stolen while at a gas station right out of the car she was pumping gas into. Like to know how these things are happening to try and avoid it happening again.

Random DIY - Unfortunately it was accidental, hotel video showed her drop it while getting up from a chair in the hotel lobby. Then it showed a man picking it up and walking out the door. Thanks for your comment. Sorry about your wife’s phone incident.

I just had my phone stolen out of my car. It was either stolen when I was pumping gas or a creepy neighbor stole it. One good thing is that they don't have the password and they can't do a damn thing with it now. Jokes on them!!! I don't care I'll buy another phone. Good you got your phone back, it was an Apple, they are expensive!

Unfortunately, I was not so lucky. The phone was turned off immediately so there was no tracking.

Dude update to iOS 15! It allows you to track your phone while it’s off!
