I started watching a few years now and when that happened to Bee I could totally relate I lost my daughter a few years and talk about mental health it’s not a joke I had to leave my job that I was at for 25 years because she died in the same campus and it would trigger bad memories I was on disability off and on for almost 5years I finally decided to retire early I have found my happy place in my yard growing vegetables and flowers love watching you both I pray that Bee continues to be strengthened each day 😊

The clutch is worn away. In between engine and transmission. Get a pressure plate, release/throw out bearing with it. And a clutch alignment plastic tool. Frequently sold as a kit. Approximately 200 American dollars. If you’re lucky, might be able to improve it some with an adjustment to the cable. Temporarily.

Husband says you have a bad clutch. Time for a new one. (He’s a mechanic) Also, always check your fluid levels. Check oil when the engine is cool & transmission when the engine has been running. :)👍🏼

Theo... That's your truck's clutch slipping, just like if you had your foot resting on the clutch pedal with a manual transmission. That's why you're losing power and the engine is revving too much. The clutch is a pair of spinning discs (called 'pressure plates' in the US). The center of one plate is attached to the engine's crankshaft and the other to the transmission. The pressure plates are held together by spring pressure (thus the name), until you press the clutch pedal and they separate, which disengages the engine from the transmission and main drive shaft. It is only the friction between the 2 pressure plates that allows the power from the engine to transfer to the tires. Over time, the pressure springs fatigue and the plates wear down. (especially if someone were to drive with his/her foot resting on the clutch pedal ;-) There should be a means for adjustment to tighten the slippage. You'll either need the vehicle's service manual to explain the process or have a mechanic replace the pressure plates inside the clutch housing. Hope this helps, Mate. New clutch Theo and depends on the damage on the flywheel, if any. I had that issue in my car the exact same 1 took it to a garage and that’s what it was lucky my flywheel was ok, hope you get the beast sorted!
