I will like to know, where he is paying his taxes, if he is being employed in Germany and being paid in Pakistan. Secondly, he didn't mention his visa status or if he can transition back to Germany at will. If he is getting the German salary in Pakistan, then he is having the best of both worlds.

He should be paying his taxes in Germany and getting paid in German Bank Account. Secondly he is a German national so its easy to transition back while holding a German Pass
