My narc never gave me a golden period, never put me on a pedestal, nor treat me like a queen. He's never called me names, never puts me down or tells me what to do. He's been exactly the same since the day we met a decade ago..always aloof, insensitive, no accountability, extremely hyper sensitive to perceived criticism, goes into a rage if I ask for my needs to be met. I wish I could've at least experienced the good parts too, but its only been cold/neutral treatment..unless I ask questions, have a need or an opinion, then he'll ignore me or rage if I don't drop it. Not saying a golden period would make all the abuse worth it, but at least I'd know what it feels like😕

*Such* misplaced entitlement. The one recurring theme, especially during devaluation was "This is what it's like to be with me. You'll just have to put up with [insert ridiculous behaviour here], because I don't see why I should change for anyone!" I must say, the only thing I don't quite understand, is what (besides simply fuel) does the narc actually expect from the Primary? I get the notion from this video that a narc expects a Primary to simply live with being cheated on and still show some sort of respect, because the narc is "so superior and so attractive" as my ex would likely describe it.

I so agree! I too do not comprehend how they can twist what wrongdoing they do as "entitlement" and not understand its wrong but we can not do anything similiar leave alone a casual hello to an acquaintance with receiving the wrath of their rage. We should not have to apologize for being upset that they hurt us! We should not have to suppress who we are as a normal human being to avoid the backlash from them. They do in my opinion expect us to deal with their betrayals admitted or not and carrying on like it never happened! Crazy making and cognitive dissonance at its finest!

This is very sad and disappointing. EVIL. The DEVIL comes as a Angel. We're the sheep walking to the slaughter house and we don't know it. All for love and something pure and innocent with a man. Someone to spend the rest of our lives with. THEN EVIL destroys all our dreams and hope's. If anyone survives your kind it's a miracle. I don't know why and I questioned God thousands of times why. Why me, why doesn't ANYONE know what your kind are? Why aren't they educating society on your kind. Intelligent people that know what you are aren't speaking up. I try so hard to speak up and educate everyone and protect everyone but always attacked. If only they knew the DEVIL HIMSELF exist and what you really were your kind would be hunted down but it's not happening and your kind are treated like God and victims suffer by so many people because they don't get it, THEY don't understand. You marinate us . You don't just make us mentally unstable and insane ,break our minds. Everything about your kind makes us literally sick. You attack our nervous SYSTEM, NOT just shattered our heart's and our souls. Everything about your kind make us sick. Traumatised, PTSD and depression, diagnosed with so many things it's over whelming. I spoke the truth over and over again and NOT many care. Until it happens to them then they will believe. Something that I wish on no one. Recovery is brutal and near impossible. Surviving and living everyday is hard at times. Knowing what I know and knowing your kind are everywhere it's hard to get close to many people. When I loved people at one time and now terrified to get hurt again. Your kind destroy more then anyone knows or could comprehend.

To provoke you so you provide fuel. He may tell you to get one and if you do, he will use it as an excuse to show you are the aggressor and look to gain fuel from third parties by way of pity etc.
